... and spot Twilight Sparkle's number! That settles it. She's not just a bookworm. She's an out-and-out NEEEEEEERRRDDD! And I'm surprised that Nos. 8 and 11 weren't disqualified for their performance. Sure, it didn't help either of them win (SPOILER ALERT), but they'll still get points and a cut of the purse for finishing the race. Here I thought Princess Celestia wanted to clean up the EPRA. (BTW, fun game: watch the race and count how many shots have one or both of them missing their numbers.)

I expected Twilight to perform rather well, despite this being her first ever race. If only everything in life was as easy as reading it in a book...

The problem is that EquusLeilani pulled all his episodes. You'll have to switch to pensivepony's copies. I'd do it myself with my magical admin powers, but honestly I'm too damn lazy.
Also, why does Equestria have the adage "don't look a gift horse in the mouth"? Is that some kind of holdover from an ugly history of slavery?

I take it you've never seen what fashion designers are truly like, then? I've seen some of them in person, and they were pretty much as 'strange' as Rarity is, if not stranger. The stuff these people design aren't usually for the common folk, anyway, only for those with an absurd taste in fashion. Same goes for the guy who visited Rarity's exhibit. IMO, this episode served quite well in showing what goes on in the minds of these sort of people. Those of their kind or those with 'taste' in fashion would call them geniuses, the ordinary folk just call them crazy. And there really was no need for the other ponies to be so picky, though it did show how vastly different their fashion sense is compared to Rarity's.

So much win, so little time.
* Secret underground research lab. For science! * Oh, no, not the bees! Not the bees! AAAUUUGGGHHH! * Derpy's back! Everybody say hi to Derpy. * Another day, another entry for "Monsters of Equestria." * Congratulations! Your TWILIGHT SPARKLE evolved into RAPIDASH! * Looks like Princess Celestia... *takes off sunglasses*... decided to drop in.
So, between this and all her other reality-bending powers, are we in agreement that Pinkie Pie is The One?

I think the ending would have been funnier if Spike's jaw would have dropped to the ground. xD
This episode was truly funny. Pretty classic one too.

Quite funny indeed. Twilight has now officially joined the Dark Pinky Side.

Why do they insist on making Fluttershy so friggin' adorable? As much as I like the other characters, she steals every scene she's in with her sweet demeanor.
"Yay."
And I guess Derpy is a recurring character now. Once is a fluke, twice is a callback, but three times is a pattern.

Shall I tell Hack that you like Fluttershy? Actually she's in this one too, as a babysitter for the Cutie Mark Crusaders. You know that Powerpuff episode where Mojo babysits the girls? Well this isn't like that. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdugVw55cC0www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6VfkcTI1oQFluttershy has The Stare, and there's another monster too! Cheers, Blossomgb
