Okay, so Sweetie Belle's talent is singing, Scootaloo's talent is acrobatics, and Applebloom's is... what? Home improvement?
Anyway, good episode, but I do hope they get back to the main ponies for the next one. The show isn't The Adventures of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, after all.

And there's another episode that somehow reminds me of another My Little Pony show.
Also, I think Lauren just thought up a way to make staring contest a deadly game.
PS. If they make a two-part finale, this show is a sure win IMO.

Best Comedy Act. Now, who did NOT see that coming? No one? Yeah, that's what I thought.
You'd think that by watching each other use their own skills, they'd figure they'd stick to what they know best and actually listen to the older ponies, instead. And yes, there is such a thing as trying TOO hard.
Given that this trio will probably not learn their lesson (and get their cutie marks) in quite some time, expect to see more of them in the near future.
Edit: not that I'm complaining, though. I welcome the change of pace (though I agree with PH that it shouldn't focus on just this three for the time being, as it's the older ponies that are supposed to be the stars of the show).

This episode was awesome. Rarity truly 'whining' was the best part of the whole episode. I expected her to make those dogs go bonkers. Oh, Spike, one day, that crush will come to bite you in the butt (not literally, most likely). Those MADs/spoof videos are awesome, BTW. |

Whoa. Pruny hooves. These ponies are weird, man. For a while I've thought that their hooves are more like Powerpuff hands, but this clinches it. They're actually fleshy appendages instead of hard keratin-plated rods. Those things could easily be prehensile.
Anyway, Photo Finish. Am I the only one who was hoping she'd ask Fluttershy at some point to touch her monkey? "Touch him! LOVE HIM!"

Okay, now they're going out of their way to make reaction faces for /co/ (see 13:06). Anyway, fun episode. The Benny Hill segment was maybe a little bit longer than it needed to be, but I'm not sure how else they would have filled the time. And I have to wonder if (SPOILER ALERT) phoenices are an appropriate thing to show to the target demo. Kids are pretty stupid, after all.

Season 2? Well, that sure is good news.
And it'll probably take years and massive fan complaints before they'll ever release this on home video.
About the episode: I figured that all the stories were connected and that Rainbow was the missing link.
