Steve threw the rope and fixed the Voidbringer in a paralysis stare as the rope tied itself around her, tying the hair down over the evil eye. With the eye covered, Steve continued the paralysis stare in the good eye.
'Can I let go now', he asked.
Angel picked the Shadow Soul from Oni Blackheart's hand. She tried to grab at Angel but she was invisible and easily dodged her. When she was out of Oni Blackheart's reach, she became visible again. Dodging Oni's attempts to catch her, she held the Shadow Soul out of anyone's reach.
'What do I do with this', she shouted, going invisible again. Because she was invisible, all they saw below was the Shadow Soul, bouncing about above them...

Oni Blackheart defends with Parry
Oni Blackheart sidesteps and raises her arm holding the Shadow Soul, which causes Timo's ice staff to strike the flat part of her wing blade, bounding off it as though it were a shield, but is caught off guard when Angel grabs the orb from her raised hand. Instinctively, she reaches out to try to keep her from taking it away, but is unable to take it back. After only a few attempts to catch her, Oni Blackheart suddenly stops pursuing Angel.
"Going invisible would not prevail you against me; I can see what you see not. You are fortunate then that I have not come here to fight you, merely to stop the demons from claiming the object you see fit to keep out of my reach."
"Of course we're going to keep it away from you!" Blossom shouts at Oni Blackheart. "You having it would be no better than HIM or that other Him from getting it!"
Blossom attacks Oni Blackheart
Attack: Strawberry Shoot
Defense: Parry
Oni Blackheart attacks Blossom
Attack: Soul Cutter
Defense: Parry
Blossom shoots her yo-yo out to hit Oni Blackheart, but it is countered when she swipes her arm blade, shooting a crescent shaped blade of energy out of her weapon that bounces the yo-yo back. Oni Blackheart then lowers her arm and turns away from Powerpuff Girls Z, who have their weapons at the ready to continue the fight, but are surprised when their opponent starts walking away!
"What? Where are you going?" Blossom shouts, confused as to why Oni Blackheart would stop fighting and just go.
"You're just giving up?" Bubbles asks, tilting her head in a puzzled expression.
"Don't you still want the Shadow Soul?" Siryn asks her.
Without turning around, Oni Blackheart answers their questions. "I must admit, a part of me does want its power. With the Shadow Soul and the Shadow Wingblade, I could become a powerful, unstoppable demonic force! Yet..." Oni Blackheart shakes her head. From their viewpoint, Timo, Steve, Angel, and Hack can see a small tear forming in Oni Blackheart's eye. "...is this what every part of me wants? No, it is not what I seek. You have the Shadow Soul; give it to the girl whenever you see fit. My battle here is finished. If you still wish a battle with me Powerpuff Girls Z, perhaps next time when you are not so busy defending the known universe."
With those words, Oni Blackheart takes off and disappears in a flash of dark energy! Once she is gone, the heroes hear Blackheart speaking, this time in her good voice. "Oh no, she must have escaped during that last encounter! Is everybody all right?"
"Everybody's okay and we did great!" Violet answers, hugging her friend. "Once we get you untied, we've got a special surprise for you!"
Blackheart smiles brightly. "The final Shadow Soul at long last. Thank you, everyone."
"Glad to have been of service to you." Blossom says with a nod. "I'd really like to stay and see you off, but me and the girls really wanna go and check on Miharu at the hospital and make sure she's all right."
"I'm sure the doctors have already treated her injuries." Bubbles says reassuringly. "It would put all our minds at ease to know she is feeling better after what happened to her."
"I suppose this is good-bye." Siryn says to the heroes, bowing politely. "Everything that happened; I am going to have to go and see if I can't write a great song about it all!"
Buttercup grins and flexes her arm. "You guys are all right. If you're ever looking for a hand against some other cosmic threat, let me know and I'd be happy to help ya out!"
The Powerpuff Girls Z take off and fly away, heading back into New Townsville on their way to visit Miharu in the hospital.

'Are you okay', Steve asks Blackheart. Angel lands beside him, holding the Shadow Soul. He wanted to be sure she was before he untied the rope.
'Fine now, thank-you', she says in her good voice. 'I nearly let go of myself, like I did when I was knocked out'.
'So It's safe to untie you', Steve continued.
'Yes.'
Steve looked round briefly at the others, then started to untie the rope. Like before, it virtuially untied itself. 'Sorry if you were uncomfy', he commented. 'I had to. What's this Wingblade thing?'

"Thanks, Powerpuff Girls Z." Timo said as he bowed back. "Thank you for all your help."
Timo made his ice staves disappear, but he couldn't bring himself to smile.
"Yet is this what every part of me wants?" Oni Blackheart had said.
Timo looked at Blackheart being untied and wondered out loud. "She could had taken the Shadow Soul quite easily and used its powers. Instead she turns her back on it. It was like... she listened to her good side, which would mean... that Oni Blackheart is living with both evil and good side in... ... some harmony at least. I mean she could have at least tried and destroy us and yet..."
Timo trailed off, noticing everyone looked at him. "Never mind. Let's get this over with before Him decides to pay another visit."

"Agreed," Hack says. "Let's clear the last Shadow Soul and put them all together so we can finish this once and for all and go home. Then if you guys still want to talk to the Voidbringer, well... I can't stop you."

Blackheart Casts Dark Purification
With the last Shadow Soul in hand, Blackheart uses her power to remove the corruptive energy. "Now there is only one thing left to do, and that will be to forge the Black Heart. Before that, I shall fulfill my promise to you all and return you to your reality."
Blackheart Casts Black Vortex
With a wave of her hand, Blackheart opens a portal and steps through it. Violet, Hack, Angel, Steve, and Timo all step through it, finding themselves back at the Utonium Residence. Professor Utonium and the adult Powerpuff Girls are all in the living room, their faces lighting up at the sight of them.
"Steve! Angel! You're both home!" Blossom says happily, picking up Angel and hugging her tightly.
"Finished already?" Buttercup asks, pointing at the clock. "It's only been a couple of minutes. Must not have been that hard."
Bubbles flies into Timo's arms and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "So, how did it go? Did you get all the Shadow Souls?"
Blackheart nods and speaks up before Timo can answer for her. "We did, thanks to your boyfriend," she turns to Blossom. "your husband, your daughter..." she turns to Hack, thinking for a moment. "...and you. I cannot even begin to thank you all enough for aiding me. The time has come; before I go, I request that all of you bear witness as the Shadow Souls are now united to form the Black Heart."
Blackheart Casts Black Vortex
A portal opens and Blackheart's bag carrying the remaining Shadow Souls falls out. Blackheart opens the bag and removes its contents.
Blackheart Casts Shadow Fusion
Blackheart closes her eye and holds her arms out as the Shadow Souls begin to glow brightly. Suddenly, Blackheart grunts in pain as her arms split open, spilling her blood onto the glowing orbs!
Blackheart Condition: Bloody
Blackheart's hair flies back as both of her eyes open wide, both of them now pitch black! The orbs start to melt, the dark gray liquid they melt into fusing with her blood and rising into the air, reshaping themselves into a black crystal that gives off a red and blue shine on different sides! Blackheart lowers her arms and faints, but Violet is quick to fly over and catch her before she falls.
Blackheart Condition: Unconscious
"Man, you never said doing that would take so much out of you." Violet remarks, setting her down gently. "She'll be all right. Her arm is already almost fully healed."
"Very good for her, but a shame she will not have the Black Heart when she awakens!" Motrax says with a sinister laugh! Violet looks up to see the wizard standing over her, his arms folded and grinning widely.
"Are you really that dumb? You're surrounded on all sides!" Violet says with a confident smirk. "Me, the Powerpuff Girls, Blossom's husband and daughter, Bubbles' boyfriend, the gunman; the eight of us are gonna stomp you before you even cast a single spell!"
"Don't be so sure about that!" Motrax says with a laugh. "I've completely slowed down time around us to the point where only you are aware that I am even here!"

Bubbles Condition: Perfect! - Time
Buttercup Condition: Perfect! - Time
Professor Utonium Condition: Perfect! - Time

"Maybe so, but I can still stop you!" Violet shouts, flying at Motrax and winding up for a powerful blow, but her fist strikes an invisible force field that shocks her with electricity!
Motrax aims his hand at Violet. "Yullow wakorum!" He shouts, blasting Violet with a sphere of magical energy that forces her to the ground!
Violet Condition: Beat Up - Shocked
Motrax steps over Violet as she struggles to get up, clutching her injured ribs and shuddering as the electricity continues to jolt her body. He grabs the Black Heart from the spot where it is floating and laughs. "Thank you so much for creating the Black Heart; I promise I will put it to good use!" He says, turning to Blackheart, who has just woken up and is staring at him with her red eye.
"Interesting plan hiding the purified Shadow Souls in Heaven of all places." Motrax says with a sinister grin. "The light of Heaven itself is dangerous to demons like your grandfather, isn't it? Yet you wished to seal him within the darkness of the Black Void. That is because Heaven's purity can harm you as well, isn't it?"
"Yes it is." Blackheart answers his question, holding out her hand. "I can break your spell you know; the people in this room will show you no mercy once the flow of time is restored and your cover is blown. Hand me the Black Heart NOW and I promise to allow you to run away."
Motrax attacks Blackheart
Attack: Heaven's Light
Defense: Teleport
"I've got a better idea." Motrax says, waving his arm as a portal appears. "Since you care so much for the worlds of light; rather uncharacteristic of one who claims to be a Voidbringer, then you shall embrace that pure light which you hold dear!"
Motrax's portal opens wide, and a golden ray of light shines out of it brightly, engulfing Blackheart! Blackheart cries out in pain and falls over, her body radiating the same pure golden light as Motrax laughs and disappears with the Black Heart!
Blackheart Condition: Danger!
As the flow of time returns to normal in the living room, Professor Utonium, Hack, Timo, Steve, Angel, and the Powerpuff Girls suddenly see an injured Violet cradling Blackheart in her arms, tears forming in her eyes. "Blackheart, c'mon snap out of it!"
"What happened? Where is the Black Heart?" Professor Utonium asks.
"I blew it!" Violet says, starting to cry. "That wizard guy stopped time or something, zapped me with his magic and stole the Black Heart, then he did this to Blackheart before he disappeared! It's all my fault; if only I were stronger!"
"N-no. I-it's my f-fault." Blackheart says weakly in her good voice. "I should h-have told y-you w-what creating the Black H-heart w-would imply. Y-you w-were n-not r-ready to defend m-me because I didn't tell y-you." Blackheart coughs a few times. "At l-least she w-will die w-with m-me."
"No. No I can't let it end this way!" Violet says, determination in her voice. "We have to go after that guy and get the Black Heart back!"
"The Black H-heart w-will n-not save m-me." Blackheart tells Violet, tears forming in her eye. "All is l-lost."
"I've got an idea." Buttercup speaks up. "Felicia, the Silver Queen. She knows more about Voidbringers and demonic magic than any of us! If anyone could help save Blackheart and locate Motrax, it would be her."

Timo was in shock to see Blackheart in such condition, especially after witnessing her ability to heal herself.
"Motrax did this??" Timo said, remembering the last time they had encountered him. "He's more powerful than before if he was able to do this to Blackheart, a Voidbringer, and stop time itself."
After hearing Buttercup's suggestion, Timo looked at her. "It's worth a shot." Timo turned to see Blackheart. "You hear that, Blackheart? We will save you, so don't give up your hope yet. Never give up until the last second." Timo looked at Bubbles. "My love never gave up on me and neither should you."

"Amen," Hack nods. "It's not over until we're all dead. And even then, we'll fight from the grave! But, uh, the Voidbringer's in no condition to be making portals. So how are we gonna get to our next target?"

'We go to the Silver Castle and get advice', Steve said. 'And a healer', he said, pointing at Blackheart. 'And to think I wasn't entirely trusting of her.'
'You weren't the only one', Blossom tells Steve gently.
'I know. but...', Steve began. He hated seeing anyone like Blackheart was right now, 'Come on, let's get that -', he paused and looked at Angel - 'so and so.'.
'How', asked Timo.
'The way we always go to the Silver Castle', Blossom replied. 'Steve upgraded a piece of gear that we confiscated from Mojo Jojo. Come on.'
Back in charge of her family as well as the girls, she made for the laboratory, the rest following. When they got there, Steve got the machine out, checked it out and then set the co-ordinates.
'Ladies and Gentlemen and people in between', Steve said, almost like a circus ringmaster, 'In we all go.'
Angel hid a laugh, as there was nothing inbetween and it was just her Dad mucking about. They all stepped into the machine. Unlike the black portals the group were surrounded in a silver glow, which faded. They were in the throne room of the castle.
Queen Felicia looked surprised, and happy as her little 'niece' ran towards her. She noticed Violet holding a badly injured girl. She rubbed Angel's hair and looked at the group.
'Is that who I think she is', she asked.

"Queen F-felicia I presume?" Blackheart says weakly, being carried through the portal by Violet. "Please f-forgive m-me. M-motrax h-has obtained a powerful artifact f-from the Black Void because of m-me."
"Don't talk Blackheart." Violet tells her. "You'll need to save your strength."
Felicia walks over to Blackheart and places a hand on her forehead. "She feels like she has a fever, almost as though she were sick, but demons and Voidbringers cannot become ill. You appear to have absorbed a great deal of pure light; how could this have happened?"
"Motrax casted some kind of spell on her. I didn't even think a guy like that could-"
"N-not a spell." Blackheart corrects Violet. "M-motrax opened a portal to H-heaven in f-front of m-me."
"I see. Motrax's powers have always exceeded my own, but I do know someone who can defeat him." Felicia tells them. "You must seek out Quintin, the last of the Sorwin tribe. I would tell you how to find him, but he left Wonder long ago. You will have to seek him out yourself, but chances are if Motrax is the same person he has always been, then he will likely target Quintin first with the Black Heart."
Felicia takes Blackheart from Violet, rubbing a hand against her forehead. "Ordinary magical healing comes from light and nature, neither of which would have the desired effect on you." She tells her. "Only I can heal you, with magic I long ago promised myself I would never use..."
Felicia casts Possession
Felicia's body begins to glow faintly as some kind of unidentifiable energy flows from her arms into Blackheart! The princess of the Black Void's eyes widen and she struggles to escape the queen's grasp. "No! You cannot do this! You must not! Violet, someone, anyone! Stop her!"
Blackheart Condition: Perfect!
The golden light that was weakening Blackheart's body is drawn into Felicia, who drops Blackheart, backing away from her and everyone else. Blackheart easily flies up to prevent herself from hitting the floor, but she turns and shakes her head at Felicia. "Why? Why would you do such a thing?"
"I will be all right." Felicia says as the golden light engulfs her body. "I have faced stronger powers before..."
One of Felicia's Silver Knights sees Felicia stumbling. "My queen!" He shouts, running over and catching her as she faints into his arms. "What happened?"
"It's nothing; do not be concerned." Felicia tells her knight. "I will need to rest for a time. Until I reawaken, this is to be kept a secret from the nations of Wonder. No one must know what has transpired here." With those words, Felicia closes her eyes and appears to have fallen into a deep sleep.
Felicia Condition: Unknown - Asleep
"Blackheart, are you feeling better?" Violet asks her friend. Blackheart looks over at the sleeping Felicia as she is carried out of the throne room by her guard. "Physically, I am fine now. I owe Felicia a great debt; she gave me much more than the healing I required, even though I didn't want to take it from her. We must do as she said and find Quintin."
"She didn't know where to look though, so how could you find him?" Violet asks. "We have no leads and no idea where to start looking!"
"Untrue. Ever since I recovered, I began to sense the existence of a crystal blade which carries the ability to repel evil magic, turning it against evil wizards like Motrax in the form of pure energy."
"You speak of Reflection, the sword Quintin took with him when he departed from Wonder in search of more adventure." Another of Felicia's guards says, having overheard the conversation between Blackheart and Violet. "Find that sword, and you will likely find the Sorwin hero."
"So can we do this? Can we find this hero and go after the Black Heart?" Violet asks.
Blackheart Casts Black Vortex
"We can, and we will!" Blackheart answers, creating a set of three portals. She turns to Hack, Steve, Angel, Timo, and the Powerpuff Girls. "First, I must make amends to all of you. You all have already done so much more for me than I could ever repay any of you for. This portal here shall return you home if you so desire, just as I promised before all this happened." She turns to Violet, pointing at one of the portals. "This portal Violet, goes back to your reality, where your home, your parents, and your friend Blair are all right where you left them when you followed me."
"What? What kind of friend would I be if I went home and left you to fend for yourself after all we've been through?" Violet asks with a smirk. "I'm not going back until you and I see this to the very end! That's what a real friend would do."
"There's no way I'm sitting on the sideline this time!" Buttercup says. "I'm going with you too!"
Blossom looks at Steve and Angel as Bubbles looks at Timo. "You've worked with Blackheart more than us. The choice is yours." Blossom says. "If you want to keep helping her, and whether or not you want us to go with you."

Timo closed his eyes, faintly smiling. "How could I go home anymore? I'd be a fool if I'd give up now. Like all roads, this one still hasn't come to an end. This is only the beginning and we're the only ones that can end it once and for all. Besides, I think we all want to get some paypack from Mortrax."
Timo opened his eyes and looked at Bubbles. "We do have to consider the same thing we already did once: whether or not to leave Townsville unprotected." Timo went to Bubbles. "However, my answer stays the same." Timo suddenly hugged Bubbles. "I want you to come with me Bubbles."

"The Black Heart needs to be secured," Hack says, "and the wizard needs to be eliminated. This is twice now he's endangered the cosmos. As long as your goals and mine are the same, you have my services."
He turns to face the Powerpuffs. "The iceman has a point about Townsville. We could use your help, but you'll be leaving the city defenseless. If we act quickly, that shouldn't be a problem. You'll be back before anyone knows you're gone. But if the fight takes longer than expected, you and your boyfriends will have quite a mess to clean up when we get back. I don't know your priorities, so I can't make this decision for you."

'It depends on whether Blackheart can return us at about the same time, like before', Steve said. 'Can you?;
Blackheart looked at him. 'I did last time.'
'Well I do wonder what we'll face this time. As the Three Musketeers said...' Steve pointed his stick in the air 'All for one'
'And one for all', Blossom and Angel replied. Although they didn't have sticks, they reached out and touched the stick. Steve then lowered it again as Blossom put Angel back down.
'Where does the third portal go, exactly', Steve asked Blackheart.
