Kind of odd, but on the same token, I can't blame them. I mean we all get into dire straights, but when nobody will help us out...then what?

Well, you're the freedom fighter! And a terrorist in the eyes of those who you're fighting against.

Well, you're the freedom fighter! Y'know, it's fun to think that way...However, the hard trouble is I think far too radically, and seeing how police are professionals at mass domination...if all the enforcers AND all the Special Forces AND all the military altogether went "on strike" against the politicians, those that such work for, THEN there MIGHT be a glimmer of hope. However, to convince such a mass of martial might like that would be...epic, yet it would require at least that much charisma AND logic in presentation in order to convince such a good number of armed men and women to turn against the Masterminds in such unison.

Heeey, what did I tell you about calling for a military coup d'état? Besides, it wouldn't work. Britain doesn't have police and military types any more. All they have are Islamic mercenaries enforcing sharia law on helpless white women [citation needed].
But seriously, folks, my favorite part of the article: these people took out their anger on a bank that had absolutely nothing to do with their complaint. I assume they were mad at NatWest, since that was their first target, but when they were forced to change plans, they just went and bricked up the next bank over. Not even the next closest NatWest branch. It's like protesting McDonald's over a tainted Whopper.
"Gimme moi loan, ye bloody wanker!" "Excuse me, sir, am I supposed to know you?"

Oh, so fun...if what you say is correct, then this entire stink is a pure joke. Beyond that, you make England sound SO...vulnerable. Rats, I almost forgot: This is THE "Lawless" territory, don't forget. That means, as far as I can translate, we don't need to worry about getting into trouble here.

Well, I'll furnish you with the facts you need. It's really all happened over the past 13 years and mostly in the big cities. The army are in Afghanistan. The police are now out on the roads with laser guns picking on drivers who go over the speed limit. There are secret Sharia Law courts and thanks mainly to European laws which our New Labour masters signed us up to, we can't kick people out because it might interfere with their 'ooman rites.
The one thing I will say is that it's not all Muslims that want all this. In fact very few. It's the Islamic Fundamentalists. They radicalise young disaffected Muslims.
The police and 'Blunkett's Plastic Police' are pretty bad. These PCSO's as they are called do nothing. They can't help a child cross the road because it might interfere with their health and safety. One stood by and watched a child drown because he hadn't done some swimming course. You can now be fined more for going too fast at night or leaving your bin out on the wrong day than for shoplifting!
New Labour are out now and it's being turned round, but turning a ship round takes time, and a country is bigger than a ship, We can but hope.
Banks - well they don't lend money to small businesses. It's like talking to a brick wall, and it's the same all banks. Yet they give each other massive bonuses. They are all the same - like Politicians. The lid came of Westminster last year so to speak and all the piggies ran for cover. That man in Dorset had a lot of support...
In London, immigrants are forming gangs and are going round killing each other. And although people want longer sentences for Killers, Burglars, Rapists and Anti Social Behaviour merchants, the sentences remain short. This country has been turned on it's head by New Labour. People get £25.000 a year on benefits when they are fit to work. I don't get anywhere near and now I can't work.
If you want to be a freedom fighter, London is now a great place for that. It's OK where I am, but how long for is anyone's guess.
Cheers,
Blossomgb

Um... for the record, I was totally joking. Hence the "citation needed" tag. Making fun of how the American right wing characterizes the land of tea and crumpets. Of course, if it really is that bad over there, never mind. (And considering the state of certain places on this side of the pond, I don't doubt that it's at least possible.) But to hear our guys tell it, it's part of some vast conspiracy to take over Europe, instead of the same crap any large cultural center has to deal with. You don't hear them talking about how the Crips are bent on world domination, for example.

It's OK where I am, but how long for is anyone's guess. Cheers, Blossomgb Initially, I thought you were being sarcastic, what with that talk about "laser guns" near the beginning, but I think you mean the "speed traps" to catch people for what here in the USA is THE most nonpunishable crime ever: mild speeding. I mean 5 over the limit, and you're perfectly safe here. 10 over is pushing it, though. Your "New Labour" sounds a LOT like what we here nowadays call "Unions." Y'know, back in the day, they were fighting inhumane working conditions (4 year old miners; need I say more?), but nowadays, since all those inhumanities are officially kaput, the trouble is that such Unions (much like the Racial Wars) still act as if THE Fight still rages on to this day! IT sickens me, since all are welcome with open arms, and yet they still act like they're being rejected. Thus, we have something of a "runaway train" effect, because the Unions got what they wanted: better working conditions, but now, they're going too far, with their cushy "benefits" and all sorts of pay raises and paid vacations and all sorts of things of that nature. The BIG idea is that what was once good in its start is now evil for going "too far." How to stop them, namely since they are so deeply integrated into the government systems?! THAT, my friends, would almost require cleaning slate. But then, it's just an epic status quo, and we'd be back to Square 1, with slavery and overexploitation of workers and all that bad stuff. Let's just say that this isn't something that can be solved with sheer firepower...otherwise, why aren't the Armed Forces a "union" all by themselves?! "New Labour" seems to be THE Enemy, and from what you say, it's almost like the police and whatever "Special Forces" are over there are just glamorized titles who are actually helpless to their "code of conduct." I agree in saying that it sounds even MORE upside down over there than even HERE in Maryland, USA! THAT, says something. So, if Police and Spec Ops aren't going to interfere with people, then assuming the populace can become armed, what's stopping them from literally taking it to the Politicians?
