I have a question for you. "Are the PPG's coming back?" Attachments:

I...I don't know. Some may hope, some may doubt, but if that road is to be explored, know that it will take a war's worth of effort to reach that point...maybe more.

If they'll ever come back, I doubt they'll come back the same way they used to be.
I'm talking about the phenomena, that's happened to all of the same named series, like Knight Rider: modernization.

Did you know that The Electric Company was canceled for 31 years but until 2009, it was revived.

If Cartoon Network thinks they can milk more money out that cash cow they will.

So far...I don't think that's possible, what with the "experiments" they tried *CoughCNREAL+other2seasonshowscough*.

Let me tune into my TV... I still saw the "new" logo, but I can't tell if there are signs of CN Real left...maybe on weekends, but overall seems...promising.

If they did come back, I'd hope whoever had creative control would have some character development and respect for their continuity

I would. And my Facebook friends list has one or two people on it....
Here in the UK, we never got CN real. We have CN, CN2 and Boomerang and the few 'real CN' shows that they show over here ended up on Boomerang. The older stuff is on CN2, and on CN at night under 'Cartoon Cartoons'
Other bits of news - Tara Strong (Bubbles)'s son now likes the Powerpuff Girls especially Fuzzy Lumkins. and a lot of people who grew up watching the show are starting to have kids who like it. I direct toy hunters to Ebay where there is a healthy trade in toys.
I've said all along that the PPG is one of those cartoons that will not die and could be brought back at any times. Look at Scooby Doo, and we need someone who won't let it go like that!!
Just don't let them fall in love with the RRB. That is too much and I get the impression that Craig does not like that idea either. They were left out of the 10 year special.
Cheers,
Blossomgb

The RRB's could be used if used correctly. Do not use the romantic angle, too predictable. Instead, I'd smarten them up and make them a force to be reckoned with. Some character development in the show would result, because they girls would at last have an opponent on the same footing. If the RRB's weren't used the writers should KILL THEM OFF once and for all, so the show can move on.
Age them a few years, but do not turn them into prepubescent tarts.
