Well there are two ways of looking at it. It's good to have them back, but some parts of it were not the Powerpuff Girls I recovered from a stroke to, and the comedy was piled on too much in inappropriate ways.
The story overrall was quite good at first. But the PPG's animation did seem to be lacking, and the temper tantrum bit was not the girls I love. Of course Bubbles would get hooked on that game!
Why was Mojo popping up from under the girls front door mat? When was Professor Utonium a dancer. And why was Ringo Starr not used more in the story. It all seemed rather disjointed to me as the story went from one plot to another sometimes not fully showing the viewer what had gone on.
PPG for a new generation - possibly, but the intelligent humour had all but gone. Why were all 3 of the girls taken over so easily by the Dance R-Evil-ution 2 game and without the three 'guest stars' they would have been gonners at this point.
But I did get used to the Animation I admit, and it was nice to see them again. But although a series would be nice, they will have to get better script and story writers.
Overral - 5/10 Could do better.
