CBS will end its current run of animated/live programming for children after September 21 (Liberty's Kids, Busytown Mysteries, Doodlebops--their "Cookie Jar" block). In their place on September 28 will be CBS Dream Team, a package of live-action shows from Litton Entertainment (who also furnished Litton's Weekend Adventure to ABC stations) geared to ages 13 to 16. The shows will not air directly from CBS; they will be syndicated to CBS stations where they will be programmed to best suit affiliate needs.
The shows: Lucky Dog - Animal trainer Brandon McMillan goes to animal shelters to train otherwise untrainable dogs and find good homes for them.
Dr. Chris, Pet Vet - Dr. Chris Brown, a veterinarian of no small renown, takes viewers on a first hand look at some of his four-legged charges and their treatment.
Recipe Rehab - Two chefs compete to take a family's selected high-calorie repast and turn them into low-calorie meals.
Jamie's 15-Minute Meals - Jamie Oliver (previously of Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution) shows how to cook with healthy eating mind.
All In With Laila Ali - Laila Ali profiles inspirational people from around the world.
Game Changers With Kevin Frazier - Kevin Frazier (of omg! Insider) puts the spotlight of athletes who have made positive impacts.
