Felicia casts Dream Warp
Using the magic map, Felicia changes the setting of the dream again, this time to what appears to be Mojo Jojo's laboratory! Mojo and Imposter in her monster form are laid out on the floor as Blossom stands over them in triumph.
"Aargh, curse you Powerpuff Girl Blossom, for you have foiled my evil plans yet again!" Mojo says, banging his hand against the floor of his lab. Blossom ignores Mojo and turns to see the others. "Oh, there you guys are! When you disappeared, I found myself back in Townsville when the hotline rang. The mayor told me that Mojo and Imposter were building some kind of missile in their lab, so I came here to disarm it and bring them to justice."
"Get away from them! Those two are not who you think they are!" Quintin says to Blossom.
"What are you talking about?" Blossom asks, looking down at Mojo. "I've dealt with Mojo and Imposter lots of times before."
"You don't understand." Felicia says to Blossom. "Do you not remember seeing the demon?"
"Felicia?" Blossom thinks to herself for a moment. "I do remember that. I also remember falling asleep and getting woken up by the hotline buzz. Are you trying to tell me we are in this demon's dream? It all seems so real."
"The dreamer is a powerful monster, but if we work together we can escape." Quintin tells her. "We just rescued your daughter from another segment of this dreamscape where she was being held prisoner by a demon pretending to be you. Everything you've seen since you 'woke up' has been nothing more than a fabrication of the demon's dream!"
"I thought it seemed strange that I was here by myself." Blossom says. "Buttercup and Bubbles, are they still trapped too?" Quintin nods silently in response to her question. "Then let's get out of here and find them!"
"You're not going anywhere..." Mojo and Imposter both say, their voices changing to a strange buzzing sound! Both of them fade away, revealing a twisted looking insectoid with four eyes, six arms, four legs, mandibles, wings, and a wasp stinger!"
Demon Insect attacks Blossom

Before Blossom can react to this transformation, the huge insect wraps its arms around Blossom, tying her up in a cocoon of webbing and attaching her to its underbelly as it flies into the air! Two of the arms continue to hold Blossom in place as the other four arms are raised to reveal sharp blades at the end in place of hands!

Steve was usually logical, but not this time. After a quick look to see if Angel was still with Queen Felicla, he took flight. As the insect flew round the laboratory, Steve went up to meet it. He was behind it so it couldn't see him, He looked at the stingers and the wings blocking his way, but as the stingers were in the legs which were out to stabilize the flight, all he had so get past were the wings. They were flapping at speed, so he had to time this just right. He quickly worked out the speed of flight and flap of the wings.
'Right', he muttered....'now'.
The calculation was right as he flew foward, past the wings and onto the body of the insect. Keeping low, he managed to grab an antennae and hold on as the insect started to fly back and forth in an attempt to throw him off. He held on with one hand as the other had the duranium sword on it.
'Take this', he shouted as he went for the neck of the insect with the sword. The insect gave a sharp cry and became more unstable. He struck with the sword again and it held in place deep in the 'neck' of the insect. He held onto the sword as he transferred his grip to the body of the insect. Then he twisted the sword and insect blood went everywhere. The head of the insect came off in a shower of blood which went everywhere. Then the body of the insect went into a dive. The two legs holding the cocooned Blossom let her go as the body dropped. Steve let go of the body and flew down to catch Blossom, still restrained in webbing. He let the sword fall with the insect and concentrated on getting Blossom down safely.
When he landed with her, there was no sword with which to cut the webbing. He didn't want to use the wasp stings on the legs either, he thought as the body of the insect landed a few feet away.
Angel came forward as he tried to undo the webbing.
'That's my job', Angel says as she used her eye lasers to melt the webbing.
'Be careful', Blossom said as she regained her power of speech. 'Don't burn me along with this stuff!'. There was a touch of panic in her voice still after her ride. The webbing gave way under the heat and Blossom crawled out of it, Steve helping her and holding her close for an instant.
'Are you OK', Steve asked her.
'I think so. What was I going to be?', she asked.
'I don't know, but you're still Blossom. The real Blossom', Steve replied. Blossom picked up Angel.
'Thank you', she told Angel. 'And you too', she said to Steve, giving him a kiss.

Felicia casts Dream Warp
The landscape of the dream changes again, this time to what appears to be an underground fighting arena. A strong looking man in an all season Karate Gi is standing in the cage, facing off against Buttercup, both of them in fighting stances.
"You've seen him take on the strongest fighters in the entire world, but can our champion defeat Buttercup, the Powerpuff Girl who singlehandedly ended an entire alien invasion with just her fists? Let R.C. Power Battle's main event begin!"
Fighter attacks Buttercup
Attack: Roundhouse
Defense: Jump
Buttercup attacks Fighter
Attack: Uppercut
Defense: Block
The champion makes the first move, leaping into the air and performing a flying roundhouse kick aimed for Buttercup's head, but Buttercup easily stops the kick with her arm and counters with an uppercut that sends the fighter flying against the wall of the cage!
Fighter Condition: Bloody
Buttercup's opponent easily flips back up to his feet, wiping some blood from his face with a grin. Buttercup readies herself as he runs at her to attack again.
"Buttercup, c'mon! We're getting out of here."
"Blossom?"
Fighter attacks Buttercup
Attack: Serpent Spiral Slash
Defense: Duck
Buttercup looks away, lowering her guard by accident as her opponent suddenly hits her in the ribs with his fist, then with a battle shout socks her in the chin and leaps into the air, a spiral of green energy in the shape of a large serpent erupting from his fist surrounding his body! Buttercup is sent flying head over heels from the hit to the other side of the cage, bending the steel bars on impact!
Buttercup Condition: Battered
"Oh, that was a vicious hit from our champion! Can Buttercup recover and fight back!" The announcer shouts. Blossom flies over to where Buttercup is getting up and dusting herself off.
"We gotta go Buttercup. Bubbles and Violet are still here somewhere."
"Not now Blossom, I've gotta beat this guy so I can take the championship title!"
"The man you are fighting is actually a demon. You're wasting your time in there." Quintin tells her, but Buttercup shakes her head.
"He's not that tough! I could beat this chump in my sleep!" Once she says that, a thought occurs to her. "Hey, wait a minute! We are still asleep, aren't we?"
"Now you understand why we have to leave, right?" Blossom asks her. Buttercup nods and turns to her opponent. "Hey, nice moves you got there. Keep your crummy title; I gotta get goin'."
"What? You can't just quit like that! Fight me!" the champ shouts at her as she starts to leave the ring. Before Buttercup can open the cage door and walk out, the bars form into large metal teeth as the cage morphs into a giant evil looking head!"
"This fight is not over yet!" the champion says in a demonic voice, transforming into a creature with giant teeth and blades for hands!
"Hey, let me out! I said I'm done fighting you!" Buttercup protests, but the champion goes on the offensive!
Champion attacks Buttercup
Attack: Blade Swipe
Defense: Parry
Buttercup Defends with Grab
The monster slashes one of its arms at Buttercup, who tries to catch the blade, but the weapon cuts deeply into her arm! Buttercup pulls away from the champion, narrowing her eyes at the monster and gritting her teeth in pain!
Buttercup Condition: Bloody
"Hey, c'mon lemme outta here! I don't wanna fight this guy no more!" Buttercup shouts as the monster advances on her. Buttercup keeps an eye on the mutated champion, backing away from it as it stalks her in the now inescapable ring.
Champion attacks Buttercup
Attack: Blade Fury
Defense: Parry
Buttercup Defends with Dodge
"Hey, little help here guys?" She asks, jumping out of the way as the monster slashes wildly at Buttercup!

Timo attacks The Cage

Timo creates an ice staff and slashes the "cage door", hitting the teeth, but the attack managed only to crack a bit.
"Damn you, demon!" Timo yelled. In his mind he wished he now had the Ice Shard - ability. Despite that, he continued to hit the cell door.

Hack pokes the barrel of his gun into the demonic-looking cage. "You know the rules, champ. Someone says stop, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. You keep it up, that's unsportsmanlike conduct. And you... are... disqualified!"

Steve was initially so glad to have his family back that he just stood there with Angel and watched Blossom try and talk Buttercup out of the cage, hoping that she wasn't going to get drawn in again. He looked down and noticed something. He had left the sword in the last 'dream'. He was about to say something rude but Angel was there.
He saw the cage change into a mean looking head and saw Timo try and force his way in. He watched as Hack tried to shoot the demon, if that's what it was.
'Quentin, if it comes to a fight, we'll keep the demon busy and you finish him with that.'. Steve pointed to the shield.
Quentin nodded. As they stood there with Queen Felicia, Steve thought that Timo still looked scared. He did know why, and he hoped that it wasn't a fear that was going to be realized or that they wouldn't be too late if it was....

Hack only manages to fire off one shot from his rifle before the creature's teeth snap shut, nearly biting the weapon, but the shot hits its mark in the back as it is more focused on Buttercup. The demon falls face first onto the center of the ring, struggling to get back up.
Fighter Condition: Broken
Buttercup attacks Fighter
Attack: Dancing Bomb
Defense: Long Range
The monster attempts to clamber back to its feet, propping its arms up with its blade hands, but Buttercup sees this as an opening! Charging up, Buttercup creates a large black ball crackling with green electricity. "You wanna finish this? You got it!" She shouts, firing the supercharged ball at the demon and blowing it up on impact!
Fighter Condition: Destroyed
Almost as if it were waiting for her to win first, the giant demon head opens its mouth, providing a means of escape! Buttercup wastes no time in flying out of the ring to join the others. "Let's get outta here, quick!"
Felicia casts Dream Warp
The dreamscape changes again, from an underground cage fighting ring to a serene, grassy field overlooking the sunset. Bubbles is there as well, her back turned as she appears to be arguing with someone.
"Leave me alone, whatever you are! I'm not fooled, so just go away."
"Bubbles, how can you say that? I love you." a voice that sounds suspiciously like Timo says in response.
Bubbles attacks Timo(?)
Attack: Slap
Defense: None
The false Timo moves in, trying to kiss Bubbles, but instead is struck across the face and knocked down. "I said stay away!" Bubbles cries out, turning and preparing to fly away, when she sees the actual Timo and the others. She smiles brightly and flies over, hugging Timo tightly. "Timo! Blossom! Buttercup! I'm so glad you found me!"
"Bubbles, wait! You can't leave me here alone." The false Timo calls out to her. Bubbles frowns and looks back at the fake, then looks at the real Timo.
"When I came to, I found myself in this field with that faker. Now that you're all here, let's get rid of this pest and get outta here."
Buttercup looks amazed at Bubbles. "Wait, you knew right away that wasn't really Timo?"
"Of course I did; that cheap copy doesn't think or act anything like him. If this was supposed to be some way to trick me, it wasn't very good to begin with!"
The false Timo's face goes from heartbreak to anger. "No, you will not take her from me!" it says in a demonic voice, changing into a green skinned creature with spiky black hair wearing a copy of Timo's clothes! The monster pulls out a staff made of wood and charges pathetically at the group to attack.
The sight of the creature's real form seems to make her even angrier than before! "That's it? That's the monster that's been keeping me trapped here? There were demons holding you guys captive that were much tougher than that thing, weren't there?"
"Afraid so Bubbles." Buttercup responds.
Timo Copycat attacks Bubbles
Attack: Wooden Staff
Defense: Duck
Bubbles defends with Grab
The little Timo looking gremlin tries to poke Bubbles with its staff, but Bubbles easily catches it in her hand. She breaks off her hug with the real Timo to turn and face the fake one, her face contorting into a look of frustration and rage! "That demon that knocked us out and trapped us in this nightmare didn't think I was any kind of threat at all! So it trapped me here with this sad excuse for a monster?!"
Bubbles attacks Timo Copycat
Attack: Throw
Defense: Not Necessary
The fake Timo's face changes to one of fright as Bubbles grabs the end of its staff in both hands and pulls on it to force the monster close enough for her to grab and toss it as far as her super strength will allow! The puny monster disappears over the horizon, likely never to be seen again.
Timo Copycat Condition: Defeated
Bubbles returns to hugging Timo, her anger already having subsided. "Sorry you had to see that." She says, noticing the hint of fear in his eyes. "I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's not you he's afraid of," Hack tells Bubbles. "It's... I don't know, something else. But still, you shouldn't have gone off on the demon like that. You deceived the enemy without even trying. That's a blessing, not a curse."

Timo hugged Bubbles back, feeling so greatly relieved that he managed to shed a few tears of happiness. But even so his fear couldn't vanish.
"The gunner's right, Bubbles." Timo said. "I'm so glad you're alright."
Bubbles had been with Timo long enough to notice any voice changes. As she heard what Hack said, she felt just how scared Timo was.
"What's wrong, Timo?" Bubbles asked. "You're practically shaking."
Timo broke up the hug and looked at Bubbles. "I'm not sure, but this place is making me highly afraid, like someone would suddenly come out of the darkness... and it's coming out from me."
Bubbles knew immediately what Timo meant. "You're afraid Dark Timo is getting free while you're in here."
Everyone looked at Timo then.
"... Yes, that's what I'm afraid of." Timo said as he turned around to look at others. "I can't even feel my seal anymore. It's like he's already out." Timo paused for a moment. "We have to hurry."

Blossom quickly looked at Steve. He wasn't sure what the look was, but he guessed right. 'Oh no, not again' was among it. They both remembered last time, when they had been in his brain to put Bad Timo back into his cage. They had managed it, but it took Timo about a week to regain his memory. Bubbles had been in a hell of a state. Even Buttercup' rarely seen sensitive side came out!
This time Bad Timo could join forces with Evil Blackheart. The problem was a simple one and it applied to them both. Could the bad sides be killed without the good sides suffering as a result. Steve in particular was unwilling to try this, as everybody had a bad side and a good side, two sides to the same person. If one side was killed, would the other survive?
'Timo, we'll deal with it again, so don't worry. We beat him once before, we'll beat him again', Blossom said to Timo.
'If he appears to be getting out of control then tell us, OK', Steve added.

"That's another thing I fear I can't do." Timo said. "I can't feel him in any way and I think it's because of this place. It's full of darkness, damping my senses. I don't think I'd feel him even if he'd start taking over me... that is if he even is inside me anymore."
Timo then remembered something. "But I think there's one good thing. Even if I can't feel him anymore, Blackheart can if he has escaped. Like us, he's also imprisoned in Blackheart's mind plus Blackheart should be able to help us if need be just like with Black Doll. I mean she is a Voidbringer. But if it truly comes to that, then I will fight him head on and try to buy you all time to finish the job."
Bubbles hugged Timo again from behind, this time almost crying from sadness.
"I know that together we may be able to beat him, but I don't want any of you to die on his hands." Timo continued. "Let's hurry! We still have Violet to save."

"If this 'Dark Timo' is somewhere hiding in this dream realm, it is likely he realizes that you were able to defeat and seal him up before." Quintin deduces.
"With Quintin's sword and my magic, we could quickly seal him back up if it comes to that." Felicia explains to Timo.
Felicia casts Dream Warp
Reality shifts again, this time to a peaceful house on a grassy hill. Violet is striking a large sandbag with a series of punches and kicks as though she were training.
"You've gotten a lot stronger Violet." Blazer tells her, applauding her while watching. "You're doing great; keep it up!"
As the group approach Violet, they can tell she is wearing heavy weights tied with ropes around her arms and legs. Violet is sweating really hard, but appears to be smiling as she continues to train.
"What is she doing?" Bubbles asks.
"Working out by the looks of it." Buttercup answers.
After a few more strikes against the sandbag, Violet steps back, seeing the others. "Oh, it's you guys! It's great to see you again! You remember Blazer, my father right?"
"Violet, we have to get going. The Evil Blackheart is still out there and now we suspect that Dark Timo might be somewhere around here too." Blossom tries to explain.
"Dinner's ready!" A voice calls from the house. "I see we have guests. They're in luck because I made enough for everybody!"
"Say you'll stay for dinner!" Violet asks, jumping up and down excitedly. "Mom makes the best soups and garden salads!"
"Of course they'll stay, won't you?" Blazer asks with a friendly smile. Quintin glares at Blazer and shakes his head.
"Violet, don't you remember why we're actually here?" Blossom asks her.
"That's an odd question. I live here with my parents."
"That is not your father." Quintin tells her.
Violet looks at Blazer and scratches her head. "What are you talking about? Of course it's him! Who else could he be?"
"Let's go get cleaned up for dinner okay?" Blazer says, taking Violet by the hand. Violet smiles as she is being led away by the false Blazer!
"Violet, try to remember what was happening before this." Felicia says.
Violet frowns in response. "Okay fine, but I don't see what this will accomplish." She thinks for a few moments. "Hmm, that's odd. I remember Blackheart saying she wanted me to go somewhere to help her out. I remember you guys were there with me."
"The demon? Do you remember the demon?" Quintin asks her.
"I... I think I do. It attacked us in some way, then after that..." Violet thinks really hard. "After that... I can't recall what happened!" She looks around in a panic. "In fact, I don't even remember how I got home!"
"Don't worry about it, sweetie. We should hurry before our soup gets cold." Blazer says to her. He tries to take her by the hand again, but Violet steps away from her father.
"N-no. Something strange is going on here. I... I think I need to go."
"Go? You used the bathroom before we started training!" Blazer says with a laugh.
"No, I mean leave. I'm gonna go back with Blossom and the others."
Blazer's voice changes to the familiar demonic voice from the other segments. "You're not going anywhere, young lady! I AM YOUR FATHER!"
Blazer attacks Violet
Attack: Kick
Defense: Block
The demon disguised as Violet's father suddenly lashes out, kicking her in the forehead and knocking her down! The weights on Violet's limbs morph into skeletal arms and pin her to the ground!
Violet Condition: Bruised - Restrained
"Hey, what's going on? Let go!" Violet shouts, trying to get up, but the skeleton hands continue to hold her down. The fake Blazer doesn't change shape, but a group of full bodied skeletons with cattle skulls instead of human skulls burst out of the ground and join him in the attack!

'Somebody here is a necromancer', Angel said out loud. Steve and Blossom looked at her.
'How do you know about Necromancers?', Steve asked, incredulous. He has a film about a necromancer having an army of skeletons, but that and all his other films are locked away.
'Buttercup told me about them', Angel replied. 'Besides, living or dead, they do have to see someone to attack them.'
With that, Angel turned invisible and started knocking the heads off the skeletons. Amazingly, they thought they were still alive and fell down 'dead' when the 'heads' were knocked off. Some tried to go for her, but she attacked from different angles each time and none of the skeletons managed to get a hit. This took the attention away from Violet, who managed to get a hand free and used it to push herself upward against the remaining hands....
