"Looks like it's been decided," Hack says. "Cover the rear; all units thataway!" He fires one last shot while zipping off mere inches above the ground.
Hack attacks Mr. Tenderizer
Attack: Stinger Shot
Defense: Retreat
"Sorry we can't stick around, wizard," he yells into the night, "but we don't have time to play your games. Maybe when this is all over, you can run the heroes through another gauntlet. It's not like you need the Black Heart to summon all these monsters, right?"

Steve looks back at the monsters before taking off. He tries his paralysis stare on these clowns but it does not work! He looks forward again and catches up with Blossom and Angel.
'Why didn't you paralyze them', Blossom asked.
'I couldn't. And the roars sounded mechanical and the way the glow around the first one changed tell me why. They aren't living beings, they are machines.'
'You mean like robots', Angel asked.
'I believe so.' Steve said. He reached into his deep pockets and produced a hairbrush which he gave to Angel. She tidied herself up as best she could. 'Timo, could you please use your ice bubble and take us up a bit?'
Timo did so and they saw a control room at the centre of the park.
'I think that's the place', Buttercup said.
Bubbles looked at where they were and then told Timo to lower the ice shield and the people in it back down, but keep it active. They made their way to the control room...

"Look, there he is!" Quintin points, riding in Timo's ice shield as he is the only one incapable of flight. Motrax looks up and sees the heroes descending upon him and grins widely. "You folks sure aren't much fun! Very well, let the grand finale begin!"
"No more games Motrax!" Blossom calls down to him. "You are going to - WHOA!"
Everyone backs off as the control room itself sprouts giant spider legs crackling with electricity on all sides! Motrax sits in the 'body' of the spider mech, protected by a reinforced windshield. Just behind the cockpit of the mech is the Black Heart, which seems to be attached to the machine and being used as its power source!
Motrax laughs maniacally. "I had been saving this as a super special bonus surprise for the Sorwin, but I suppose there's no harm in using it on the likes of you! I needed something tried and tested for killing superheroes, so I specifically checked alternate realities with the Black Heart in order to find one in which Mojo Jojo actually had defeated the Powerpuff Girls and taken over the world. Guess what? I found one! This is the big bad machine he did it with, so I plucked it from his throne room, enchanted with with my magic, and powered it up with the Black Heart!"
Motrax attacks Timo
Attack: Duranium Ripsaw Launcher
Defense: Duranium Shielding/Black Heart
"What does this button do?" Motrax says almost as if he were performing a Dee Dee impersonation, pressing a button on the console in front of him. The spider raises one of its front legs and fires off a large buzzsaw at such a high velocity that it rips right through Timo's ice shield! The blade narrowly avoids hitting anyone as it slices through one of the Dilamboland tents as Bubbles catches Quintin before he falls.
Motrax attacks Bubbles
Attack: Web Blaster
Defense: Duranium Plating/Black Heart
Motrax presses another button on the console. The spider turns and aims its body at Bubbles, firing off a web from the thorax that ties her and Quintin up! Bubbles is forced to land to avoid hurting Quintin in the fall, but is unable to separate herself or the hero. "I can't draw my sword!" Quintin exclaims, struggling to move his arms.
Bubbles Condition: Fine - Restrained
Quintin Condition: Perfect! - Restrained
Motrax laughs and applauds. "Incredible! Marvelous! Wonderful! I LOVE technology! If I had my hands on this back in Wonder, Quintin would NEVER have defeated me!"
The evil wizard uses the joystick and buttons inside to make the spider mech walk forward, electric currents shooting between the legs of the machine as it threatens to stomp on Bubbles and Quintin! "Maybe this is a bad time to mention this, but I've never had a driver's license!" Motrax shouts with a cackle.
Blackheart attacks Motrax
Attack: Galaxy Missiles
Defense: Flight
"Enough of this!" Blackheart shouts, raising her arms and producing seven Galaxy Missiles, firing one at each of the spider mech's legs in an attempt to trip up the machine, but the explosive energy stars don't even cause a scratch or the legs to even buckle! "No! Because of the Black Heart, my powers don't work on it!"
Motrax attacks Hack, Steve, Angel, Timo, Blossom, Buttercup, Violet, and Blackheart
Attack: Gatling Gun (Duranium Hallow Points)
Defense: Duranium Shielding/Black Heart
Pressing another button, Motrax laughs and laughs as what appears to be a chain gun pops out of the spider's open mouth and aims at the others still in the air!
"Everyone take cover NOW; it's going to fire!" Blossom shouts as the gun starts to spin up...

"Oh you really gotta be kidding me!!" Timo shouts as he quickly creates an ice staff.
Timo attacks Bubbles and Quintin
Attack: Ice Shield (sphere)
Defense: None
Timo aims at Bubbles and Quintin and creates an all round ice shield around them, while flying past them.
"No way am I leaving you two like this." Timo said.
Right after the ice shield was ready, Timo lifted both Bubbles and Quintin and made them follow him inside the ice shield.
Right then the chain gun begins firing as Timo goes around the spider and takes distance from it. One of the bullets hit the back of Timo's ice shield, breaking it slightly. Timo noticed this and swung his ice staff, making the ice shield go quickly around him and threw Bubbles and Quintin behind an empty tent, partly freezing the web, that restrained them at the same thing.
"Timo!!" Bubbles yelled before disappearing behind the tent.
"Safe... for now." Timo said as he turned and looked at spider and noticed everyone dodging the bullets.

'This fellow's mad. Doesn't he know that technology sometimes breaks down?', Steve commented as he and Blossom shielded Angel from the bullets. He looked up at the latest threat, with magic from the Black Heart driving it on.
'This is a Mojo device', Blossom observed. 'Look for a weakness. Angel, stay where you are.'
'And visible', Steve added as he turned and looked at her.
Angel looked to the sky and uttered the phrase 'Yes' under her breath.
When Steve turned, the duranuim sword fell to the ground. This was the hardest metal in the universe, and metal also conducted electricity. He took it in his hand and put his trusty stick in it's place on his belt. He looked at the sword, and the broken wires that hung loose from the unit now that it had moved and watched them.
Violet and Blackheart were behind them along with Buttercup and Hack.
'Can you make a portal into that unit?', he asked Blackheart.
Blossom turned and looked directly at him. 'What are you thinking?'
'Mortrax minus the magic is pretty weak. If I can get close enough to paralyze him, he won't be able to move or escape. Besides, if he hasn't got a driving license then he shouldn't be driving should he?'
They all looked at the monstrous spider craft, about to fire again. Blossom looked worried as some of Steve's ideas were quite dangerous.
'What if the magic prevents it from working?', Buttercup asked.
'That's why I plan to bring it down first. In the chaos, you lot go and get in, stealing the Blackheart and one of you can kill Mortax. I was hoping for that honour but never mind.'
Steve was about to throw the rope at the machine when he was stopped by Angel.
'Will that stuff hold?'. she asked. The rest of the group all had the same question.
'It does not have to. If I wet it first, it will conduct electricity. Like this sword does. That's how I plan to bring it down.'
Blossom turned to the rest of the group.
'He does know about electricity and electronics.', she told them.
'Especially short circuits and bangs', Angel added.
'You've no idea...', Blossom told them. 'Get the others and be ready..'
Steve was wetting the string in the water on the ground nearby. Once it was wet through, he threw it at the legs of the machine. It twisted round two legs and the current ran through them and the string. This confused the system and the machine staggered and nearly fell. He then threw the sword through the window of the machine as Mortax battled to keep control of it all. He didn't notice Steve until it was too late and he was paralyzed. He couldn't move or use any of his magic. The machine began to fall. It hit the ground in a shower of sparks.
'I see what you mean', Buttercup remarked.
'Now', Steve yelled. 'Get the swine'.

As Motrax throws a tantrum on the ground, trying to escape the Paralysis stare, Blackheart uses her Blood Crystal Blade to cut Quintin and Bubbles free from the frozen webbing. Quintin draws Reflection and approaches Motrax. "There's nowhere left for you to run or hide Motrax. This is the end!"
"It can't be! How could this have happened?" Motrax says, his voice a mix of frustration and rage. He suddenly grins widely as Quintin raises Reflection to strike him down. "You can't get rid of me that easily!"
Mr. Tenderizer attacks Quintin and Steve
Attack: Spiked Hammers (Enraged)
Defense: Spin
Charging like an out of control locomotive out of nowhere, Mr. Tenderizer slams one of his arms into Quintin! The blow knocks him away before he can strike the wizard and allows the monster an easy hit on Steve with the other, breaking the Paralysis Stare on Motrax, who immediately disappears!
Quintin Condition: Beat Up
Steve Condition: Battered
"You haven't heard the last of me; I'll figure out some way to defeat all of you, especially you Sorwin!" His voice echoes as he vanishes completely.
Blackheart Casts Draw Darkness
Raising her arm, Blackheart focuses and pulls the Black Heart out of the wrecked spider mech, which flies into her hand. Blackheart turns and grins widely at Mr. Tenderizer and Barfo, who turn and focus their attention on her. "Let's see if a soulless machine can experience fear!" She says.
Blackheart attacks Mr. Tenderizer and Barfo
Attack: Pulverize
Defense: Black Heart
The two mechanical clowns enrage as Blackheart's eye glows a bright green. Both Mr. Tenderizer and Barfo suddenly lift into the air, an unseen force twisting off pieces of the machines in a sickening cacophony of metal and fleshy noises, blood and petroleum alike pouring from the monsters! When Blackheart finally returns to her normal self, all that remains of either clown is a broken spiked hammerhead, some twisted legs, and the deformed metallic head of Mr. Tenderizer.
Mr. Tenderizer Condition: Destroyed
Barfo Condition: Destroyed
Blossom flies over to check on Steve. "Are you all right? None of us saw that guy coming; I'm so sorry!"
Quintin stands up, shaking off the disorientation from the heavy hit he took. "That was a nasty hit, but I think we're okay." He answers. "Don't worry about Motrax getting away; he still has to deal with me when I find him again."
"He won't have this the next time you face him either." Blackheart says, holding the Black Heart up in her hand. "I didn't mean for this to cause so much trouble, but it's mine now."
"Good. Now we can go into your mind to get Felicia." Quintin says, remembering the reason he agreed to help Blackheart in the first place. Blackheart nods and closes her eyes.
Blackheart casts Black Vortex
"In this realm there will be no robots, or villains, or evil wizards to fight. Something far worse than all of those awaits, and you must face it without me." Blackheart says, pointing at the portal she has created. "This portal does not go to any world... it goes into me, my very essence. Only the Black Heart could have made this possible."
"So you can't follow us into your own mind?" Bubbles asks.
"Not without turning her brains inside out I'm guessing." Buttercup says.
"I am forbidden from aiding you directly, save for using my own mind to alter the environment in the intent of doing good to combat her evil. The Silver Queen is there, but I also ask that 'she' be dealt with as well."
"You got it!" Violet says, throwing a few mock punches with her arm, which has completely healed up. "With the Dream Team we've assembled, she doesn't stand a chance against us!"

'I've felt worse in the past', Steve remarks, leaning on Blossom for a moment. 'Winded, that's all. Is everyone else OK? Angel??'.
Typical Steve, Blossom thought. She remembered him with broken bones and frozen in the black void, still fighting on.
'We're all fine', Quintin says. 'We nearly had that wizard then as well.'
'Daddy, are you OK'. Angel came forward to him.
'Fine thanks Angel. So we go and get Queen Felicia from inside your head?'. He looked at Blackheart, incredulous.
'Yes.' Blackheart states.
'Will you be OK here. We don't want to get stuck in your head if anything happens!', Steve commented. He could stand on his own now.
'I've got this', Blackheart indicated the Black Heart.
'All the same. find somewhere safe, there's a good girl'. Steve commented.
Blackheart looked at Blossom. 'Is he always like this?'
'Yes. And it makes sense too. You're our only way home!', Blossom told her. Steve was humming a tune all of a sudden.
'Dream... Dream Dream when I want you. In my arms...'
'Later', Blossom told him. 'What will the inside of your brain be like, Blackheart?'
'I'll make it as easy as possible for you', Blackheart states, again indicating the Black Heart.
Steve nipped over to the ruined spider machine and retrieved the duranium sword.. He wanted it just in case. Could Mortax have gone to tell HIM?

Bubbles had been hugging Timo the whole time.
"So it's finally time for the last battle." Timo said.
"And after this it's all over." Bubbles said.
"Everything we've gone through, including the war with Blackskull, has led us all to this." Timo said as he looked at Blackheart. "Let's do this!" In his mind Timo added: "And I hope this time I can hold an important promise I made for you, Bubbles."
