Steve, Angel, Timo, and Hack step through the portal, finding themselves in the mountains. Blackheart is nearby, holding Theo in her arms as she looks up at the projection of Him in the red sky above.
"How could you do it, grandfather?" Blackheart asks Him. "You would go so far as to use a Shadow Soul to destroy a whole reality just to try and stop me?"
"I must admit, I may have underestimated you, my dearest Blackheart." Him says, sounding almost heartbroken. "Are you sure you will not give her a chance? I'm sure if the two of your worked together-"
"NEVER!" Blackheart shouts, shaking her head and dropping Theo to the ground with a thud.
Blackheart attacks Him
Attack: Big Bang Laser
Defense: None
Theo rubs his bottom as Blackheart aims her arms at Him and fires a giant laser at her grandfather! Him's projection vanishes, but his evil voice echoes in the sky as it changes back from red to blue. "STUBBORN CHILD, JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER! I'LL GET YOU AND THE SHADOW SOULS, SO DON'T EXPECT ME TO GO EASY ON YOU ANYMORE!"
Blackheart trembles in anger, lowering her arms and her head. Violet places her hand on Blackheart's shoulder to comfort her. "Don't let that overgrown windbag of hot air get to ya. He's just gettin' scared since you're only two orbs away from getting to kick his red can!"
Blackheart lifts her head and smiles. "Grandfather cannot stop me now. Let us find the next one."
"Stop right there!" Blossom's voice calls out at Blackheart as the Powerpuff Girls descend toward the mountain. "I don't know who you are, but I can tell just by looking at you that giant red beam came from you!"
Blackheart looks up at the Powerpuff Girls and smiles. "Oh, you're alive in this reality! That's wonderful."
Buttercup attacks Blackheart
Attack: Fury Charge
Defense: Deflect
"You won't think so in a few minutes, weirdo!" Buttercup replies, charging at Blackheart in a streak of green and swinging her fists wildly!
Blackheart attacks Buttercup
Attack: Slap
Defense: Block
"YAAAHHH!" Buttercup screams as she tries to beat up Blackheart, but the Dark Powerpuff easily blocks all of Buttercup's punches. Blackheart retaliates with a gentle slap, but the force behind the blow is enough to send Buttercup crashing into the mountains!
Buttercup Condition: Battered
"Buttercup!" Blossom and Bubbles shout. They look at Blackheart, who shrugs at them in return.
"I tried to hit her as softly as I could. Honest!" Blackheart tries to explain.
Boomer attacks Bubbles
Attack: Tackle
Defense: Fast Flight
Butch attacks Blossom
Attack: Tackle
Defense: Fast Flight
Bubbles defends with Roll
Two streaks of blue and green suddenly slam into Bubbles and Blossom, easily recognized as Butch and Boomer of the Rowdyruff Boys. Bubbles manages to roll with the hit and throw Boomer aside, but Butch slams Blossom into the mountain below.
Blossom Condition: Scratched
Bubbles Condition: Broke a Sweat
"A brawl in the mountains and we weren't invited?" Butch asks Blossom condescendingly as he pins her down. "Maybe it's only girls allowed? What fun is that?"
Blossom attacks Butch
Attack: Double Kick
Defense: Push Away
"Get off of me!" Blossom shouts, kicking Butch in the chest with both feet to force him back into the air.
Violet attacks Butch
Attack: Roundhouse
Defense: None
Butch defends with Flip
Violet flies up and tries to spin kick Butch in the head, when he turns and catches her leg! "Oh ho! Who do we have here? Aren't you girls gonna introduce me to your cute friend?" Butch swings Violet by the leg through the air, knocking her into Boomer!
Violet Condition: Bruised
Boomer Condition: Bruised
Boomer turns away from Bubbles, rubbing his head.
Bubbles attacks Boomer
Attack: Haymaker
Defense: None
"Oww! What was that for?" Boomer asks just before Bubbles slams her fist as hard as possible into the back of Boomer's head! Boomer cries out in pain and flies away from Bubbles. "This isn't fun anymore; my head really hurts!" the blond Ruff complains.
Boomer Condition: Beat Up
"It does? I thought you had a thicker skull than that Boomer." An unfamiliar girl's voice calls out. Descending from the sky is a girl with long strawberry blond hair wearing an orange dress. She lands in front of Boomer, who lowers his head to show her the bump. "Aww, you poor thing." The girl says to Boomer, rubbing the wound with her hand like a mother would a son. "Did that big mean Powerpuff Girl hurt you again? Would you like me to teach her a lesson like I did the last time?"
Boomer nods at the girl, a few tears in his eyes. The girl smiles and gives Boomer a small peck on the head before releasing him. Boomer starts to fly away as she turns to look at Bubbles. "Have you already forgotten Bubbles? Nobody beats up my boys but me!"

Defense: Block
The girl shoots toward Bubbles in a streak of orange and slams her foot into her opponent's midsection, creating a fiery explosion on impact that blasts Bubbles into the side of a mountain with a loud crash! Violet sees the attack and looks at the girl in disbelief. "She knows my dad's attacks? Is she...? No, she couldn't be!"
Bubbles Condition: Unconscious
The girl turns to Blossom, who is rejoined by Buttercup and both are now looking at her.
"What are you doing here, Brazier?" Blossom asks the girl. "This doesn't concern you or the boys!"
The girl, Brazier shrugs. "Like Butch said, a big fight's goin' down over here and you didn't tell anyone! That stings Blossom. After everything I did for you, this is how you repay me?"
"Repay me?" Blossom asks in shock. "You poisoned Brick and took over as leader of the Rowdyruff Boys in a fit of jealousy when you found out he was more interested in me than you!"
Violet has rejoined Blackheart and the others, watching the argument taking place. "Any idea what's going on?" She asks.

Angel was stopped by Steve from calling out to her mum.
'This is a different reality.The same rules do not apply.', he told her. Blossom in this dimension looks across at the rest of them, stood there.
'What are you lot doing? You with them?', she asks, getting ready to fight them. 'And why do you have a little girl that looks a bit like me?', she wonders.
Steve paused for a moment. Would she understand the truth?
'I'm waiting', she adds.
'Let's go for them', Buttercup tells her.
'No. We've not done anything to you, nor do we want to!', Angel said to them. 'The Rowdyruffs are different though'.
'Is Bubbles OK.'. Steve wondered if concern for Bubbles would show them that they didn't want to hurt anyone, but maybe use their help. Bubbles was inert on the ground. Steve inched closer to her. Brazier watches them with interest. 'I won't hurt her I promise!'.
Before anyone could respond, Steve was kneeling down beside Bubbles. 'She's breathing. Can I put her in the recovery position?'
Angel is beside him and watches as he checks her breathing and turns her on her side. Buttercup also watches intently and makes sure this stranger does not hurt Bubbles.
'She'll come round, but that was a nasty shock', Steve said to the other two.
Blossom wasn't entirely convinced. 'You haven't answered my question', she remarks. 'One more chance buddy!'
Timo went and looked over Bubbles and Angel was by Steve's side. Steve turned to Hack. 'Lower the gun', he told him.
'We're from another dimension. We've come through another one again to get here. I am your Husband in the dimension I come from.'. Brazier, who was now doing nothing much, snickered. 'This girl looks a bit like you because she's your daughter. We're here to find something and then be on our way. Tell me, do you have trouble with a demon called Him?'
At that point, he noticed Butch about to charge headlong into a fight with Violet. He reached into his pocket and took out the powerpuff rope which he then threw at Butch. This brought him down and the more Butch struggled, the more tangled up in it he got.
Steve attacks Butch.
Attack - Powerpuff Rope.
Defence - None.
'Does that convince you', Angel asked Blossom.

As Timo looks over at Bubbles, he cannot believe one strike was enough to make her go unconcious. Timo turns his head to see the one called Brazier, who is snickering like any evil girl he's seen.
Before Blossom or Buttercup could answer Steve's or Angel's question, Timo points at Brazier very angrily.
"You!" Timo yelled. "I suggest you leave with your boys. There will be no fight here for you and our business is none of your concern." His voice sounded darker. Dark enough to get even Blackheart's attention. "If you still want to fight somebody, then I'll be your opponent!"

Hack glares at Timo. "Stand down, Iceman," he says. "No one's fighting anyone and that's final." He turns to the Powerpuffs and nods toward Steve. "I believe the British guy asked you a question."

Seeing the change in Timo intimidates her enough that she raises her arms in a 'don't kill me' gesture. "Okay okay, no more trouble from me. I don't know what's got into you, but I'd rather not stick around to find out. Blossom, they're all yours. Let's go Butch."
"I can't!" He shouts, still struggling to free himself from the rope. Brazier flies down to Butch and tries to untie him to no avail.
"Hey, what's with this thing?" She asks in frustration. "Hold still Butch, you're movin' around too much! Urrgh, I can't figure this thing out!"
As Brazier is distracted with Butch, Blossom looks at Steve and nods, remembering his question. "If you're looking for Him, we know which cave he hides out in, but it's pretty dangerous to go there. If you like, we'll come with you to help out."
Brazier pulls and tugs and even fires her eyebeams to try and cut or burn through the rope, but try as she might, she is unable to untie Butch. "Ugh, I give up! Could somebody help me out here so I can go?"
Blossom gives Brazier an annoyed look, but then smiles as she thinks of something. "Wait a second Brazier. If you want Butch freed, you're gonna have to agree to help us out first."
"You want me to do what?" Brazier asks, a chuckle in her voice. "Forget it! Thinkin' about it, I kinda like Butch more this way. C'mon, let's get outta here."
"Hey wait, you can't leave me like this!" Butch replies as Brazier picks him up and is about to take off. "This isn't fair! Get me outta this thing!"
Brazier looks at Butch in her arms and frowns, dropping him with a thud. "You're no fun! All right, have it your way you big baby." She tells Butch before turning to face Steve again, putting on her best nice girl face. "Will you please free my friend? I'll take you to Him's cave and I'll even help ya fight the monsters inside." She says slowly, seeming to struggle with the words.
Blossom gives a satisfactory smile. "See? That's much better. I'm gonna hold you to your promise; seeing as you're the one that knocked Bubbles out, it's only fitting that you take her place until she wakes up."
"Okay fine. You win, just let Butch go home!" Brazier answers begrudgingly.
Blossom turns to Buttercup, who nods and picks up Bubbles. "Be back in a sec." She says, flying off with Bubbles in tow.

Timo calmed down, seeing as Brazier was not who he thought she was. Seeing Bubbles like that brought back very bad memories even though she wasn't necessarily the same Bubbles he knew.
Timo sighed, while watching Buttercup flying off with Bubbles in tow and saddened.
Timo wanted to say he was sorry for reacting like that. but knowing Brazier was still with them, he stayed quiet.

Steve looked at Butch, still struggling with the rope.
'He'd not be very good as a sailor, would he?', Angel commented. Everyone laughed. Butch carried on muttering and struggling.
'I don't know', Steve replied. 'He's got the language off pretty well, don't you think?'
'How about a chocolate sailor?', Blossom wondered out loud.
Buttercup reappeared at that point and laughed the loudest at that.
'Have you got cable TV at home', Buttercup sniggered.
Steve looked at Blossom for instructions, as it was her world after all and they were guests.
'Untie him', she laughed. Brazier hid a chuckle.
Steve went over to Butch. 'Lie still for a minute, if you can'. Butch did so and Steve got one end of the rope in his hand. He touched the end of it briefly and it started to untangle by itself! In a matter of seconds, Butch was free. Steve put the coil of rope back in his pocket with the others while Butch stood, looking sheepishly at Brazier. Another chuckle went round.
'Go home', Brazier told him, and the shortness in her voice made him comply without question.
'Just one thing. It's only my hand that makes it undo itself. So don't try anything', he told Brazier. Blossom was amazed by this stuff and at the end she'd ask him about it.

After Butch takes off back for home, Buttercup returns, waving to Blossom. "I took Bubbles home and told Professor what happened. He put her to bed and said he'd keep an eye on her 'till she recovers." She tells Blossom.
"Good work, now we can go look for Him." Blossom says with a nod. She takes off in a streak of pink, followed by Buttercup and Brazier toward a large cavern overlooking Townsville. Blackheart and Violet follow them to the cave, followed by Steve, Angel, Hack, and Timo.
"This looks like the right place." Brazier comments, looking into the dark cave. "I figured it would have at least been guarded."
As though something in the cave had heard her say that, a loud growl is heard and a pair of red eyes appears. A giant winged monster with a huge head and a big toothy mouth flies out of the cave!
Winged Monster attacks Brazier
Attack: Bite
Defense: Flight
The monster snaps its jaws and flies right at Brazier.
Brazier attacks Winged Monster
Attack: Blazing Kick
Defense: Flip
"Oh please." She comments, flying into the air and strikes with a backflip kick that explodes on impact with the monster! Chunks of red goop and teeth are sent flying into the sides of the cavern as Brazier smirks. "Well, that's one down."
Winged Monster Condition: Destroyed
Four more of the same kind of monster fly out of the cavern, but the Powerpuff Girls and Violet are quick to take action.
Violet attacks Winged Monster (1)
Attack: Scorch Kick
Defense: Spin
Buttercup attacks Winged Monster (2)
Attack: Axehandle Smash
Defense: Flight
Blossom attacks Winged Monster (3)
Attack: Laser Eyebeam
Defense: Block
Brazier attacks Winged Monster (4)
Attack: Blazing Kick
Defense: Spin
Each girl targets a different monster. Buttercup flies up over the monster as it tries to bite her and slams her arms down on top of it, slamming it into a stalagmite on the ground of the cavern, while Blossom zaps one with her eyebeams. Much to their surprise, both Violet and Brazier perform almost the same attack against their respective targets, spinning and striking the monster with a three hit combination of spinning kicks; Violet's kicks setting the monster on fire, and Brazier's kicks blowing it up!
Winged Monsters Condition: Destroyed
Brazier looks at Violet with a look of stunned disbelief and puts a hand on her shoulder to keep her from flying off. "Just tell me one thing; where'd you learn to fight like that?"
"Back where I come from, I would train really hard each day with my dad." Violet answers her.
"Really? Is your dad somebody I know?" Brazier asks.
"Probably not." Violet says with a knowing smirk of her own. She then signals to Blackheart that the way is clear with a wave. Blackheart smiles and walks into the cave, carrying Theo in her arms.
"I see my little pets were not enough to drive you away." Him's feminine voice echoes through the cavern. "Such a shame. Now I'll have to deal with you myself!"
Him casts Cascade of Flames
The ground below begins to shake, followed by an eruption of fire from the ground below!

Hack flies up and away from the fiery blast. "You know we can fly," he shouts into the distance. "This is just insulting. If you're not gonna put up a serious fight, you may as well hand over the Shadow Soul now."

Timo was suddenly sweating, feeling the heat from fire.
"Volcanic heat..." Timo said.
Timo created an ice staff and pointed it at the fire.

"I hope this works."

Steve and Angel fly away and see if Timo's ice staves work. Blackheart and Violet stick with them. Blackheart rolls her eyes and moves away from the group.
'Grandfather, you always do these tricks rather than face people. Are you a demon or a toy clown? My teddy has more fight than you sometimes.'
Steve wondered what to say. Angel was pulling them both out to join her but Steve held on to her, pulling her back.
'She did OK last time. Remember she has more powers than him. Last time we faced him was before you were born and then he had a wizard called Mortrax with him. They've already kicked his butt'.
Angel stayed back with him. 'I see. And wait till I tell my mummy about your language. Going to cost you a lot of McDonalds's is that'.
'Come on then Him. Show us what you can do', Blackheart called.

The ice beam lowers the heat of the cave and the flames start to go down. Him's voice echoes again. "It would seem I am no match for you. Very well, you may have the Shadow Soul Blackheart. It is right over there."
A red light fills the cave, revealing its source to be the Shadow Soul! Blackheart smiles and floats over to take it, but Brazier stops her.
"No, this is too easy. I smell a trap." She says.
"Nonsense. Grandfather realizes he is no match for me, not when I have more of the Shadow Souls than he does." Blackheart replies. She reaches out and takes the Shadow Soul, when a really loud roar echoes through the cave!
"Oh no, Him must have some kind of monster guarding the orb!" Blossom exclaims, looking around on full alert. "Where is it?"
"Oh I think I know." Brazier says, pointing as the cave entrance slams shut. "This cave IS the monster!"
Him's laughter echoes through the 'cave' as it starts to rumble and move around! "Stupid granddaughter, the Shadow Soul was the perfect bait for leading you here, into the stomach of the mighty Devourer of Earth! Not even you are invulnerable to the digestive acids of this creature! Don't bother trying to make a portal to escape either; the belly of this creature has been enchanted by Motrax to nullify dark magic!" Him's feminine voice starts to sound sad. "It pains me to do this my dear, but you have left me with few other options. Farewell, my beautiful Blackheart." His voice echoes an evil chuckle as his voice fades. Already, digestive acids start to drip from the 'ceiling' of the monster and start to fill up the stomach.
"Oh great, what do we do now?" Violet asks, flying back to the mouth of the Devourer of Earth. The teeth of the beast are razor sharp and hard as diamonds! "I don't think we're getting back out this way!"
"Let's see how this thing handles a little heartburn!" Brazier shouts, aiming at the nearest wall of the monster's inside.
Brazier attacks Devourer of Earth
Attack: Fireclap
Defense: Flying
The Rowdyruff leader slams her arms together, bombarding the wall of the monster with exploding fireballs, but the explosions don't even leave a scratch!
Devourer of Earth Condition: Perfect!
"Let me outta here! I'm too young and good looking to be food for a giant worm!" Brazier shouts, continuing to blast the walls with fireballs to no effect.
"Blackheart, get us outta here!" Violet shouts to her friend.
"I can't. None of my powers as a Voidbringer are working." She responds, sounding upset. "I can't even purify the Shadow Soul so long as we remain in here."
"Any ideas Blossom?" Buttercup asks. Blossom looks around at the acid forming a puddle on the 'ground' of the monster. Blossom looks around and sees something else that no one else had noticed until now; a series of blinking eyes sticking into the walls of the beast, staring at them!
"Sorry Buttercup, but I'm too creeped out by this thing to form a coherent thought." Is her reply. "I'm afraid it's hopeless."
"Oh. Well that's just dandy Blossom!" Brazier complains. "When me and the boys cause trouble you can't stop us fast enough, but when I'm about to become some monster's lunch along with you, it's 'I'm afraid it's hopeless'. Bah!" She turns to Steve. "You're the one who made that rope right? Surely you've got a better plan than just giving up!"

'Possibly', Steve lied.
'Daddy, I don't like this'. Angel sounded really scared. He wasn't far behind her in this respect, as one of the mortal fears of any creature was to be eaten alive.
'We'll get out', he told her convincingly. 'Be strong for us Angel'.
'When you've finished comforting your brat, that is', Brazier remarked. Steve thought about tying her up and leaving her to be eaten if the rest did escape, but he quelled the thought.
'Timo', he shouted. 'Freeze the acid. Blackheart, be ready with that thing. Take it, purified or not.' Timo did so and Blackheart got ready with the orb.
'What have you got in mind', Blossom asked him.
He had to think and quick. He rooted through his pockets and put some bullets in his stick. The eyes watched him with interest, as the monster was sure it had it's lunch. 'Hack, be ready to shoot it's mouth off', he told Hack. 'Everyone else, cover your faces'
He fired two bullets off in it's mouth. At first nothing happened, but then the bullets began to smoke. The monster tried not to cough as the foul smelling smoke grew in it's mouth. It closed the eyes to try and minimize the effect of the fumes.
Steve fired again, and the monster started to cough and in the process opened it's mouth...

Hack adjusts his weapon to fire a more powerful explosive and aims at the edge of the creature's mouth. "Hang on tight, everyone," he says. "It can't possibly be safe to do this in an enclosed space."

The shot rocks the creature's mouth so violently that its mouth opens wide enough to make an escape. "Now's our chance everyone!" Blossom shouts, zooming toward the exit, followed by the others as they all manage to escape.
Much to their surprise, everyone finds themselves high over the City! The Devourer of Earth is in fact a humongous worm with thick stone like skin, mandibles, and each segment of its body has a working eye! Its body towers over the city of Townsville, its tail end burrowed into the ground below!
Blackheart casts Dark Purification
Now that she is out of the Devourer of Earth's stomach. Blackheart is able to use her powers to remove the corruption from the Shadow Soul, stashing it in her carrying bag with the others and returning it to wherever she is hiding them from Him. "We're finished here. Shall we move on to the last one?"
"No so fast there, creepy!" Brazier interrupts, pointing at the Devourer of Earth. "I did my part as we agreed and helped you get that thing. The least you could do is stick around and help us fight off the monster!"
"I hate to say this, but Brazier is right." Blossom says. "We really could use your help; we've never fought anything like this before."
"We can't leave them to fend it off by themselves!" Violet exclaims. "If we all work together, we can beat this guy in no time!"
Devourer of Earth attacks Blackheart
Attack: Mandible
Defense: Segmented
The giant worm targets Blackheart and lunges at her, its mandibles snapping.
Blackheart attacks Devourer of Earth
Attack: Karate Chop
Defense: Duck
"You're too late monster; the Shadow Soul is out of evil's reach!" Blackheart says, dodging the attack and swinging her arm downward against the beast's head with such force that the head snaps off! The head of the Devourer of Earth falls toward Townsville in a spray of green blood, but the segment of the monster that used to be its neck has now taken its place as the head!
Devourer of Earth Condition: Fine
Devourer of Earth attacks Blackheart
Attack: Slam
Defense: Segmented
"Blackheart, watch out!" Violet shouts as the monster swings its body like a club, striking Blackheart from the side and sending her flying backward onto the rooftop of a nearby building, shaken but otherwise uninjured. The monster roars and thrashes violently.
Blackheart Condition: Broke a Sweat
"That monster looks big enough to flatten Townsville!" Buttercup comments, noting what happened to Blackheart when she beheaded the first segment. "I think we gotta cut it down to size!"
Buttercup attacks Devourer of Earth
Attack: Drill Kick
Defense: Spin
Aiming at a lower portion of the body, Buttercup spins at high speed and drives her foot into the giant worm, boring through the segment in a torrent of green blood and tearing the flesh apart!
As she rises back into the air to admire her handiwork, Buttercup is shocked to discover that only the segment she destroyed has died! The rest of the worm below the segment has grown another head in place of the lost segment, while the upper portion has taken flight, the broken segment having formed into a club like tail of another, smaller Devourer of Earth!
Devourer of Earth Condition: Broke a Sweat
"Looks like each segment of the monster has is its own sentient life!" Blossom deduces based on the results of Blackheart and Buttercup attacking it.
"So we gotta kill every single segment if we wanna destroy the monster." Violet continues for Blossom. "Blackheart and I can take out the smaller one that's flying around."
"Sounds good. The rest of us should focus on the main body. Everyone focus on destroying the monster sequentially. Keep hitting the head so we don't risk seperating the segments into more flying worms!"
"Now we're talking!" Brazier states, grinning at the hissing, thrashing monster. "The boys have no idea what kind of fun they're about to miss out on! Too bad for them."
