This thread will list the new NPCs that will be appearing in Black Heart. Returning NPCs from the Dark Powerpuff Crusade will not be listed.

Name: Blackheart

Race: Demon/Voidbringer/Dark Powerpuff

Alignment: Depends on currently dominant personality.

Super Powers: Blackheart has the standard abilities of a Dark Powerpuff Girl, as well as the power of a Voidbringer; able to alter time and space through the alteration of the Black Void. She also possesses unique reality altering powers that she can only use when her good or evil persona has become fully dominant over the other.

Origin of Powers: Inherited from her parents (Black and Dark Bubbles) and from her grandfather (Him).

Background: After Jazenok Blackskull the Voidbringer was defeated within the Black Void itself, his essence ceased to exist, instead becoming part of the Black Void itself. As the last remaining visage of the Voidbringer's power, Black took over in his absence, marring the leader of the Dark Powerpuff Girls and ruling the Black Void as King and Queen.

The two eventually had a daughter, whom they named Blackheart. Like her grandfather Him (Black's father), She was possessed of a split personality. One side of her was a kind and gentle little girl who dislikes violence and seems to prefer not to use her powers (not even flight!) unless absolutely necessary. The other half of Blackheart seems more like what would be expected of the Princess of the Black Void; malevolent, sadistic, and violent.

The two sides of Blackheart's soul constantly fight for total control of her body. As a result, Blackheart is only at a mere fraction of her full power, which would allow her to alter and reshape entire dimensions at will! This power has made her a target of her grandfather, who wishes to control Blackheart and her powers in order to use them for his own purposes.

Name: Violet G. Mouse

Race: Half-X (Human/Powerpuff hybrid)

Alignment: Neutral Good

Super Powers: Violet almost has the standard powers of a Powerpuff Girl. She is also capable of a Fire Kick, a scorching, but less effective version of the Blazing Kick.

Origin of Powers: Inherited from her father. (Blazer)

Background: The joining of two Powerpuffs has the potential to produce a child that will eventually become more powerful than their parents. The child of a human and a Powerpuff however, while still very powerful compared to normal humans, is actually weaker than full blooded Powerpuffs.

Violet is one such example. Having trained to become strong like her father, the superhero Blazer, Violet entered the Junior Heroes Fighting Tournament hosted by Major Glory. She fought hard and thanks to her martial arts training made it to the final round, but was defeated by the other girl who had made it to the finals; a girl named Blair who was the daughter of Blossom and Brick in the timeline she was from!

Brick was the one who coined the term "Half-X" to describe Violet as an inferior halfbreed to the Powerpuff species. Despite this, Violet became best friends with Blair, even going with her and her cousins Buddy and Bynum (known as the Puffyruff Kids) on a couple of adventures.

One day, Violet saw something she had never seen before; a portal to the Black Void had opened, and a little girl wearing a black gown with a red sash tied around her waist emerged. Hearing the girl speak with a voice she had recognized as 'Him', Violet went after the girl, believing she was up to something bad. What happened instead was that Violet had followed through a portal through time and space, finding herself in a completely different reality altogether!

Afraid she would never see her friends or family again, Violet seeked out the albino skinned girl in the dark gown, whom she learned was named Blackheart. At first, Violet tried to fight the girl, unable to hit her at all despite her not fighting back, but while pursuing Blackheart she learned what Him had planned for her.

Instead of being her enemy, Violet chose to befriend Blackheart's good self. This side of Blackheart wanted a friend more than anything else, and finding one in Violet made her very happy. Until Blackheart can return her to her normal timeline, Violet travels with Blackheart, helping her on her journey to keep her evil persona under control.

Name: Theodore (Real name unpronounceable)

Race: Hork Demon

Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Super Powers: Theodore is extremely powerful in his true form, capable of firing beams of hellfire from his mouth and stomach. His claws can pierce through even solid duranium, and can drain the life force of his victims, using it to heal himself!

Origin of Powers: The Sin of Gluttony

Background: Hork Demons are extremely powerful creatures of Gluttony capable of causing terror and destruction across the cosmos. One day, a Hork Demon was summoned into the Black Void by accident by Blackheart herself when she tried using her untrained powers as a Voidbringer to help Princess Morbucks escape. Sensing the greedy, selfish nature that had governed Blackheart's nanny since childhood, the demon tried to eat Princess, but was transformed into a harmless stuffed bear by Blackheart before it could.

Renaming the demon Theodore, Blackheart kept the sentient plush bear as a playmate. In this form, Theo is docile and completely harmless; his body is too soft and his powers are nonexistent as a teddy bear. He can however, be commanded by Blackheart's evil side to transform and attack, either in his monsterous true form, or in a weaker teddy bear/Hork hybrid form!

Name: Brazier

Race: Powerpuff

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Super Powers: Brazier has all the standard abilities of a Powerpuff Girl. She can also perform the Blazing Kick, Rebound Shield, Blazing Fireball, and Fireclap.

Origin of Powers: Chemical X

Background: In her reality, the kisses that were supposed to destroy the original Rowdyruff Boys instead convinced Brick to give up his evil ways, turning against his own brothers and defeating them, sending them back to Mojo in disgrace. Learning that Brick had fallen in love with Blossom and turned against him as a result, Mojo decided to replace him with a Powerpuff Girl of his own creation.

Combining sugar, spice, everything nice, and Chemical X in his lab, Mojo created a single girl, who reacted to her creation by immediately setting fire to his observatory with her powers! Once they were able to calm her down and put out the flames, Mojo gave her the name Brazier, named after the heated grill he used to mix the ingredients instead of a bowl.

Her hothead temper and fiery attitude gained Brick's attention, just as Mojo has intended. Torn between two girls he felt strongly for, Brick rejoined the Rowdyruff Boys as their leader to be with Brazier, but eventually decided he would rather be with Blossom and snuck away every so often to see her.

Brazier eventually learned of this and flew into a jealous rage. She mixed Antidote X with weed killer and pesticide, pouring the mixture into a soda she used to poison Brick! She then took his place as leader of the Rowdyruff Boys, causing trouble and getting into fights with the Powerpuff Girls whenever possible!

Name: Ken Kitazawa

Race: Human

Alignment: Lawful Good

Super Powers: Ken possesses a PhD despite being only eight years old, indicating a genius level of intelligence. He sometimes carries a polearm and used other traps and props as weapons, but has no actual powers or attacks.

Origin of Powers: Extensive homeschooling in science.

Background: Ken Kitazawa is Professor Utonium's eight year old boy genius son in the reality he is from. Ken created a new chemical known as Chemical Z, a variation of his father's Chemical X, in order to destroy an ice glacier and prevent an ecological disaster. The impact causes white and black rays to fly across the skies of New Townsville, striking several people and animals and transforming them into superpowered beings!

Despite his young age, Ken displays an incredibly high level of maturity and intelligence. He is easily smarter than most adults in New Townsville! His one flaw is his distinct lack of social skills, acting confused and awkwardly around strangers.

Name: Asamaya Chiaki

Race: Human

Alignment: Lawful Good

Super Powers: Asamaya can transform into Harmonious Siryn through the use of a Chemical Z controlling device located on a high tech belt designed by Professor Utonium and Ken Kitazawa. As Harmonious Siryn, she carries a microphone which serves as a magical weapon; by singing into it, she can shoot golden music notes or effect her nearby environment.

Origin of Powers: Chemical Z (White)

Background: Gifted with a beautiful singing voice at a young age, Asamaya chose to become a pop singer, spending what yen she could raise to make an album. Her first album was wildly popular, and she very quickly found herself sought after by talent agents and fans alike! She studied several foreign languages (including English) in order to familiarize herself with the words and lyrics of songs of various cultures in the hopes of improving her own performance as a singer.

With her career taking off, one of Asamaya's talent agents arranged for her to sing live at a concert in New Townsville, but word of the concert reached this reality's version of Mojo Jojo, who believed he could abduct the rising star and hold her as a hostage in the hopes of trading her for control of the city.

Something unexpected happened during the concert however. While Mojo was too busy fighting the Powerpuff Girls Z at the concert, no one, not even Asamaya herself, saw the white ray of light smash through the wooden stage and strike the singer, transforming her into Harmonious Siryn!

Now holding a magical microphone and supercharged by Chemical Z, Asamaya's singing became a powerful weapon, which she used to defeat Mojo Jojo without even realizing it! The concert was a massive success and Asamaya became a singing sensation that night! No one but Mojo and the Powerpuff Girls Z even knew the truth behind what had happened.

Eventually, the girls caught up to Asamaya and explained to her what happened on stage. She agreed to keep her identity as Harmonious Siryn a secret, and finds herself delicately balancing her career in music with fighting evil as a Powerpuff Girl Z.

Name: Peach

Race: Robot Dog

Alignment: Lawful Good

Super Powers: His cries can prompt the transformation of Powerpuff Girls Z, as well as regenerate their powers when drained. He can also sniff out those affected by Chemical Z and HIM's black particles unless the scent is masked in some way.

Background: Peach is Ken Kitazawa's pet robotic dog. After being hit by a white Chemical Z light, he gained the ability to talk and gained intelligence, as well as the ability to sense Chemical Z and trigger its change in those it has affected. He uses these abilities to aid Powerpuff Girls Z in the form of support, recharging their powers if they are drained and helping locate bad guys and monsters affected by black Chemical Z rays.

Name: Momoko Akatsutsumi

Race: Human

Alignment: Lawful Good

Super Powers: Momoko can transform into Hyper Blossom through the use of a Chemical Z controlling device located on a high tech belt designed by Professor Utonium and Ken Kitazawa. As Hyper Blossom, she attacks with a magical yo-yo, the string of which can extend and retract at will, giving her full control of its movement. She can attack by shooting the yo-yo, spinning it, or firing energy blasts from it. All of her yo-yo attacks are named after sweets.

Origin of Powers: Chemical Z (White)

Background: Momoko Akatsutsumi was the first of the girls to be struck by the white Chemical Z lights, and as such is the self proclaimed leader of Powerpuff Girls Z. She is not as intelligent as the original Blossom, is a bit boy-crazy, always thinking about future husbands and romantic fantasies, and is also an otaku. She is very familiar with the mahou shojo genre, along with some typical super sentai concepts and is regarded as a "hero maniac" in school.

Momoko is highly addicted to candy, cakes, and junk food; if she doesn't eat sweets for a long time she can become very angry! Although she is often easily distracted and has been known to whine, Hyper Blossom tries her best to protect New Townsville, lead the team, and help the other Powerpuff Girls Z regardless of her own situation.

Name: Miyako Gotokuji

Race: Human

Alignment: Lawful Good

Super Powers: Miyako can transform into Rolling Bubbles through the use of a Chemical Z controlling device located on a high tech belt designed by Professor Utonium and Ken Kitazawa. As Rolling Bubbles, Miyako carries a giant bubble wand as a weapon. Not only can she strike in melee or throw the staff as attacks, but can also wave it to send huge, super-powered bubbles that can either defeat the target or protect her friends and civilians, depending on her intent.

Origin of Powers: Chemical Z (White)

Background: Miyako is the second member of Powerpuff Girls Z, known as Rolling Bubbles. She does seem to understand her powers completely, yet acts very ditsy at times. She is the most polite and mature acting member of the team.

When not fighting evil, Miyako prefers to go shopping for clothes and fashion accessories to augment her appearance, which makes her very popular among her male classmates. While she seems oblivious to the many boys that are in love with her, she's already in love with a boy named Takaaki (or Taka-chan as she calls him), a boy whom she'd fallen in love with ever since she laid eyes on him, which was when she was six years old.

Name: Kaoru Matsubara

Race: Human

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Super Powers: Kaoru can transform into Powered Buttercup through the use of a Chemical Z controlling device located on a high tech belt designed by Professor Utonium and Ken Kitazawa. As Powered Buttercup, she uses a Daruma Otoshi as a weapon, which is an extremely heavy mallet that only she has the strength to carry. In addition to swinging it normally, she can fire energy blasts from the head and extend the handle to attack enemies at range.

Origin of Powers: Chemical Z (White)

Background: The third member of Powerpuff Girls Z, Kaoru is known to be the most athletic girl at school, spending all her free time skateboarding, playing sports like soccer and tennis, studying martial arts, and engaging in several other physical activities. She even hopes to become a professional wrestler when she gets older!

She is also considered a tomboy, growing up with her masked wrestler father and her brothers (Kaoru being the only girl). She dislikes what she considers 'girlie' activities and hates to wear skirts or dresses. This made her the most reluctant to become part of Powerpuff Girls Z, but stayed on due in part to the powers granted to her. Eventually she softened toward her fellow teammates, even making actual friends with them.

She usually acts calm and indifferent, but is vicious and unrelenting in combat, swinging her Daruma Otoshi with her incredible strength to strike down monsters and villains wherever she finds them!

Name: Miharu Kurokawa

Race: Half Human/Demon

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Super Powers: Miharu can transform into Oni Blackheart through either the will of the sentient Shadow Wingblade, or through her own will using her teddy bear key chain like one of the Powerpuff Girls Z transformation devices. As Oni Blackheart, she wields the Shadow Wingblade, a dark sentient weapon capable of firing energy blasts, warping reality, and creating monsters!

Origin of Powers: Chemical Z (Black) and the Shadow Wingblade

Background: Abandoned by her mother as a baby, Miharu was found and raised by the Kurokawas, an elderly couple who worked on a farm in a small mountain village. When Miharu was four years old, monsters destroyed the village and killed everyone except her. Miharu did not take it well; she blamed herself for the attack! In actuality, it was caused by HIM, who was defeated shortly afterward by Goodenough Girls X, created from Professor Utonium's Chemical X.

Miharu grew up alone in the mountains afterward, somehow surviving the harsh weather and lack of food for years, until on her fifteenth birthday when the mountain exploded, sending waves of white and black Chemical Z all over New Townsville! Miharu somehow managed to survive and not get hit by any Chemical Z despite being at the heart of the explosion! Once again, Miharu blamed herself for her misfortune, certain that the explosion was her fault.

With her one home now completely gone, she had nowhere left to go but into the city of New Townsville to try and start a new life. She bought some new clothes and enrolled in school using what yen she was able to scrounge from the wreckage of her village.

She tended to remain quiet and out of sight for the most part, making her classmates believe she was shy when in fact she was afraid she would cause them harm in some form or another. A few of her male classmates even found her shyness to be cute and tried to ask her out on dates, but she turned them down; not because she didn't like them (she really wanted to go out with them), but again out of fear that whatever she did to destroy her home could happen again and hurt them.

One day while walking back from school to the small apartment she had managed to rent for herself in the slums, Miharu was attacked. Not by muggers or perverts, but by a flying metallic bladed wing that fired a black beam of Chemical Z energy directly at her! In an instant, Miharu saw the truth behind her real parentage; that her father was one of the demons responsible for the destruction of the village where she was taken in by the Kurokawas; she was abandoned because she was half demon and her mother hated her for it!

Miharu was transformed into Oni Blackheart by the Shadow Wingblade, which itself had since lost a fight to Powerpuff Girls Z in the shape of the Shadow Avatar Black, and had seeked out Miharu as its new host! Although the Shadow Wingblade and her demonic blood scream for her to cause destruction and create monsters to attack New Townsville and destroy Powerpuff Girls Z, Miharu's human soul is filled with pain and regret for everything she does in this form.

She has considered turning herself in to Professor Utonium or Powerpuff Girls Z in the hopes that they could cure her, but doesn't and hides her secret identity out of fear of her inner demon. Miharu does have control of the Shadow Wingblade and her powers as Oni Blackheart, and has even attempted to use them for good on a few occasions, but her demonic heritage often gets the better of her, causing her to attack and fight Powerpuff Girls Z, easily the most formidable opponent they have ever faced!

Despite her tragic past and dark powers causing her nothing but misery, Miharu still tries to maintain a positive attitude. Whether she believes her problems will all eventually resolve themselves in the very end, or is just an act to throw everyone off from identifying her as Oni Blackheart is unknown.

Name: Unknown

Race: Demon

Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Super Powers: HIM can use the black dust particles of Chemical Z to attack his enemies, defend himself from attack, and create monsters!

Origin of Powers: Chaos, evil, and Chemical Z (Black)

Background: HIM is an evil being preserved, nothing more and nothing less than chaos itself. In the past, HIM was dedicated to bringing about the destruction of a small town, but was defeated by Goodenough Girls X who took advantage of HIM's weakness to seal him away deep in the mountain.

When Ken Kitazawa ended up destroying that mountain, Chemical Z rays were scattered all around New Townsville, and consequently, over producing and giving birth to the many villains in the city. A black Chemical Z lightning bolt eventually struck Him's resting place and awakened the demon.

It is known that he releases a strange dust that was responsible for producing some of the monsters and villains that Powerpuff Girls Z has had to do battle with. He also finds himself a target of the Shadow Wingblade, a sentient artifact from ancient times that has also used black Chemical Z to create monsters and battle both his monsters and Powerpuff Girls Z alike!

Name: Quintin

Race: Sorwin

Alignment: Neutral Good

Super Powers: Quintin's golden eyes grant him a heightened sense of sight to the point of being able to see long distances or even behind himself if necessary! Like all Sorwins, Quintin is a natural warrior, skilled with various medieval styled weapons. His preferred weapon of choice is Reflection, a sword forged from an indestructible blue crystal. Reflection carries with it a magical enchantment capable of absorbing dark magic, converting it into holy magic, and firing it back at the evil mage who casted the spell.

Origin of Powers: Inherited from his ancestors (Sorwins), Reflection

Background Quintin was born on the day of the Voidspeaker's Tempest, the cataclysmic event that destroyed the Sorwin's lands in Wonder and wiped out all but Quintin and his elder brother, who grew up to become Marx the Mighty, a great hero in his own right.

His battles against the forces of darkness are some of the most recognized and retold among the people of Wonder! Among his many heroic deeds, Quintin found the hidden location of the holy sword Reflection, rescued the Silver Kingdom from the grasp of the wizard Motrax, defeated Jason Brooks of Triconia, the mortal embodiment of Jazenok Blackskull, and saved the life of Felicia, the current Silver Queen of Wonder, more times than she can even remember!

Quintin was offered a royal position by King Signas so he would become eligible to marry Felicia and become the new Silver King, but he declined. His Sorwin blood called out for adventure more than anything else, so he left Wonder to embark on a new journey. He took with him Reflection, a magic scroll that opens portals to random worlds, and the Wonderian Silver Jewelry which Felicia gave him as a gift to remember her by.

Quintin would later give this jewelry to the Powerpuff Girls, who found that by each wearing a different piece, could temporarily combine themselves into a single, all powerful being known as Blossubblecup!
