"You told me the udds killed one of the ambassadors sent to FL-49 on sight, just like the other ambassadors who encountered pries and ults." Professor says, looking at Patriarch. "You lied to me about the mutants!"
"No I didn't, I told you exactly what the High Council told me." Patriarch responds. "Three ambassadors were sent to speak with the leaders of each mutant type. The pries ripped their ambassador in half. The ults shot their ambassador full of bullets, and the udds beat their ambassador to death in front of their leader, who the Federation has identified as someone called 'The Great Kai'zhar' or something. However, if what the girls say is true, then the council is STILL LYING TO ME, EVEN AFTER I UNCOVERED PROJECT DAHOLUZ!"
"Did you know Mojo has an F.E.S. under his control? The one called Sunshine?" Blossom asks him.
"There aren't any F.E.S. units named Sunshine, which means he must have stolen and reprogrammed one... which means he's been able to track me this entire time through THIS!" Patriarch becomes extremely angry, ripping his scanner off and crushing it in his hand!
"I've been decieved too many times in my life, and it has always costed me! Can any of you claim to have had every single person you know and care about be taken from you by someone who betrayed you? I trusted Blizza, who took my homeworld and my twin sister from me. I trusted the leader of the High Council who turned out to be the Daholuz clone and I lost Diabol in the battle that ensued. If Mojo Jojo has corrupted the Federation itself, I'm going to stop him before I lose any of you! I don't care if I get myself expelled from the Enforcers; I'll break Mojo for this!"
"Patriarch, try to calm down." Professor Utonium says to the clearly upset Xanocite. "Getting mad won't help. It didn't help your sister or Diabol, and it won't help us now. If we are going to help FL-49 and stop Mojo, we have to do this calmly and carefully, not recklessly. Your anger and impatience has cost you too much already."
"Yes... you're right Professor." Patriarch responds, having become calm again. "So what do we do now?"
"With the information Dr. Frumapirz gave me, I believe he had planned to use his weather machine back at the Museum to create a 'cleansing rain' which would distribute the purifying agent necessary to eliminate Radiation X from FL-49's air and water. From what I gathered, he was not able to identify the source of the radioactivity, and therefore unable to complete the process."
"Unlike the doctor, we know what the source is." Blossom answers. "It's Chemical X."
"No, the source is Chemical X Prime, the purest form that existed on my home planet and gave life to myself and Matriarch." Patriarch corrects her. "Dr. Frumapirz never knew this because he was sent to this planet and never retrieved by Blizza years before the emperor came to Xanocite and recruited me."
"That must be why Antidote X didn't work; the purest form of Chemical X was found in nature on Xanocite, not replicated in a laboratory." Professor explains. "We will need to see what Dr. Frumapirz was able to come up with."
Going into the private quarter, Professor Utonium enters the password given to him before he left the F.P.S. and the chamber opens. Inside is the rotted blue husk of Dr. Frumapirz's physical remains, though the brain appears to have only recenty died. Bubbles turns and looks away in disgust as the Professor reaches into the chamber and removes the canister from under its arm. "This is it, the purifying agent. I will need to take this back to Udd City and see if Seymour can assist me in figuring out what still needs to be added."
"We'll go with you, won't we?" Bubbles asks.
"I..." Patriarch begins, but stops himself. "I need some time alone to think. I've caused too many problems already, all because the people I trusted have lied to me again! Go with the Professor; I will catch up later."
"Are you sure?" Blossom asks, looking at Patriarch's green eyes. The Lone Xanocite looks back at her and nods. "I'll be fine on my own; I'm used to it by now. I can't trust anyone with the Federation, not even myself to do the right thing, but if I am alone..."
Blossom nods. "I understand. We'll take the Professor back to talk to Dr. Saw. We'll see you later." Blossom hugs Patriarch, which seems to comfort him. "I know you'll do what is right. Not just for you or for us, but for everyone."
The girls escort the Professor from the secret lab back to the surface. Blossom looks back at Patriarch again before they leave, seeing him sitting and holding his face in his palm. "He's right; none of us can claim to have lost everything, because we at least still always had each other." She says as they arrive back on the surface.
"I can't believe you're actually defending his little outburst back there!" Buttercup exclaims. "He's always brought these problems on himself!"
"We've all done it before, but never have we faced them completely alone." Blossom explains. "One of the first things Patriarch lost was his sister."
Bubbles nods, understanding what Blossom means. "He's been forced to face all his troubles alone his whole life, while I've always had you and Buttercup to help me. What do you suppose he's going to do down there by himself?"
"There's someone he needs to talk to, but he can only do so with no one else around." Blossom replies.
"What? Who?" Buttercup looks at her in confusion.
"Girls, we should hurry." Professor interrupts, having activated a device that causes an armored suit to envelop his entire body.
"Where'd you get that armor, Professor?" Bubbles asks.
"Your father gave it to me when we got here. It keeps me safe from Radiation X and provides protection from mutant attacks. I just have to maintain the power supply." Professor answers. "It doesn't have any flying devices, but it does provide inceased speed and agility though cybernetics. It also allows me to do this."
Professor Utonium attacks Boulder Attack: Plasma Cannon Defense: Federation Power Armor
The Professor aims his arm like a gun and fires a large white burst of plasma energy, melting a nearby boulder! "I haven't had to use it in self defense yet, so I assume Patriarch expected me to use it to help him tear down the ruined buildings to prepare the construction of the new ones. At least I hope so."

Timo felt sorry for Patriarch all of a sudden. He didn't know what Patriarch had really gone through unlike the girls. The worst part was that he had felt and travelled with all that pain all by himself, making him what he was today.
Timo looked at Blossom. "It's true that we don't know the feeling of losing everything, but that doesn't we know how it feels to lose someone dear to you. Sorry to remind you of this, but you did once lose your sister."
The Powerpuff Girls looked at Timo with confused looks.
"What do you mean?" Blossom asked. "We've never lost..." Blossom suddenly remembered. "Oh. You're talking about Bunny."
Bubbles and Buttercup saddened at the memory.
"She was... so big at the time, but she was like a little sister of ours." Bubbles said.
"Yeah and in the end she did save us." Buttercup said.
As they reached outside, Timo created his ice shield around everyone except the Professor, causing the humming sound to return. This caused the Professor to notice the oddity.
"What's wrong with your shield, Timo?" the Professor asked.
"It's the radiation on this planet." Timo said. "My ice shield reacts to the radiation around us. So far it can protect us from it, though, so no need to worry about that."
"I see."
As the continued to go back Udd City, Timo looked at the Professor with a serious look.
"You know, Professor, I'm still quite upset with you." Timo said.
"Why?" the Professor asked.
"That message you left on that Frumapriz's disk." Timo said. "In it you said you most probably wouldn't come back to Earth. It sounded like you had given up on ever seeing us again."
The Professor just kept walking.
"Did you really mean it, Professor even after you went and promised us all that you'd come back?" Timo said. "If so, you really expected us to just sit back and wait for you for the rest of our lives?"

Steve had been very quiet up to this point. He felt he'd said his piece on the matter, and this Patriach did lay claim to be the Girls' real father, which meant he would therefore be his father-in-law and Angel's grandad. He knew when to stop making waves and they all knew his views. 'I rather went off on one in there', he whispered to Blossom. 'Rather you than me', Blossom replied. 'I'd have been worried if you hadn't in a way. For me and Angel! Everything you said was right after all.' As this exchange was taking place, Timo was talking to the Professor and was saying everything he felt. The girls were born on earth and so was Timo, Angel and himself. 'Agreed', he said to Timo. 'But talking about it comes later.' The Professor looked round. 'So what now.', he asked, a bit sheepishly. Steve looked at him directly. 'For this stuff to work, once the tests and additions are made, it needs to go into the atmosphere and the seas. This is next. And then, you can tell me how you got dragged into this so easily, what was said to whom by whom and promise the girls - all of them - that you won't get dragged into anything like this again!' Blossom looked at the Professor, then at the others. 'No. You can promise us that now.', Blossom told The Professor.
Cheers,

The Professor nods. "Perhaps I should not have said something like that; I'm terribly sorry if I upset you. I meant it when I said that the three of you are my greatest and proudest accomplishment, not just in the field of chemical science, but my entire life as well. I also meant it when I said I have to let you go so you can live your own lives as young women.
Patriarch may have wanted to take you away from me, from all of us on Earth and the other dimensions, to live on this planet with him once we straightened all this up. A part of me may have even known this from the beginning, and I still came here to help him. Like every father, Patriarch means well, but often his actions do not have the consequences he desires for his children. After so many years since he learned you existed, he still hasn't given up on trying to be there for you..."
Professor Utonium lowers his head. "I thought I could help teach him how to be a good parent to you, but it seems as though I am the one who learned a lesson. I shouldn't have left with him to come here. I'm sorry, and I promise I will never leave you again."
The girls hug the Professor. "It's all right, we forgive you." The girls say in unison. The heroes finally begin their journey back to Udd City. Thanks to the cybernetic enhancements from the Federation Power Armor, the Professor is able to run almost as fast as the girls can fly! They choose not to go so fast however, as there are still hostile mutants wandering the wastes. A few pries snarl and run at the Professor a few times, but the armor's built in plasma cannon is quick to blast them before they can get close enough to strike.
"This planet is in desperate need of help, and we're the only ones who can save their world!" Blossom says. "I don't know how Patriarch will take it when we tell him we want to go back to our homes on Earth with you once we're done, but he's understood in the past."
"It's a shame he won't stay with us on Earth." Bubbles says sadly.
"Remember what happened the last time he tried?" Buttercup says with a shudder. "A guy like him isn't cut out for superhero life on Earth; he'd pull the limbs off a purse snatcher just as easily as he'd blow up a bank just to keep the robbers from getting out!"
"Buttercup's right. Patriarch is a part of our family, but he literally lives on an entirely different world from us." Blossom responds. "It hurts all three of us to know he has been alone almost his whole life, but if we left with him, we would be leaving everyone else who loves us and cares for us too."
"During my travels here with him, I can sense that he sees me as a better father than him." Professor says. "I raised you into the fine young women you are today, while he was living and fighting with aliens on an entirely different galaxy. He sounds like he regrets having done nothing for you up to this point, so perhaps he thought the gift of a planet all your own would make up for it."
"A nice gesture, but we're gonna have to say 'no thanks'." Buttercup replies. "We learned during that whole key incident a long time ago that none of us are cut out to ruling over a planet."
As they approach Udd City, a tall udd in a black Kevlar vest and pants holding a shotgun approaches them. "We got ourselves a problem, thought you nice folk could help us out."
"You're Ozzie, the security guard right?" Blossom asks. "What's the trouble?"
"A gang of robots are attacking Udd City; a lot of people are hurt. They got cylinder shaped heads with brains inside of them, and are painted to look like an ugly green face with dark pink eyes.
"Mojo!" The girls shout together.
"Is everyone okay?" Bubbles asks the guard.
"I took down a few of them and cleared a path on the way over here for some, but several others are still trapped inside, including Seymour."
"Don't worry Ozzie, we'll stop 'em and save the town!" Buttercup responds. "It's what we do!"

"Hold on, Buttercup." Timo said. "You're forgetting one thing: the radiation. If we're going to fight those robots, I have to lower the shield."
"We don't have much choice, Timo." Bubbles said. "We have to help them. They did save you after all."
"I know... ... I guess we really have no choice." In his mind he added. "Patriarch, if you truly are on the side of true justice then you never need to suffer alone. I hope you know that or at least realize it soon." Timo looked at everyone. "Alright, I'll keep the shield up as long as possible and then lower it to let you all attack, but we have to finish this fight quickly."
"Agreed." Blossom said. "Let's hurry!"

Steve told Timo that he was ready, then shouted out three other things. 'Don't let that get broken or taken', he said, pointing to the canister with the 'cure for this planet' in it. 'Angel, that's your job. Blossom, stay close to me. If Mojo's here then so might be somebody else.' Angel went over to the Professor and the canister and waited. 'Ready', Angel said. 'You three ready', Steve asked the other girls. They all said yes and Blossom whispered that she knew why he wanted him close to him. She knew that Imposter wanted her and could read her thoughts and that could be dangerous. Steve took the small but lethal laser gun out of his pocket and, putting the stick in the holder on his belt. got it aimed and ready to fire on the robots. 'Ready', Steve shouted. When Timo lowered the shield, he fired on the robots with the gun. They started to fall like ninepins and disappear in the beam....

Several of Mojo's robots turn and see the heroes, shifting their focus from the udds to them. Several lasers are fired, but Timo's shield goes up to block their shots.
"Well, we got their attention. Now we gotta finish them off!" Buttercup says, aiming her laser rifle.
"Buttercup, you and Steve hold the front here. Bubbles and I will head around the back to flank them."
"I'll go with you." Ozzie says, his shotgun at the ready.
"It's going to be really dangerous. You stay here." Blossom tries to reason with the security guard, but he does not listen.
Ozzie attacks Mojo Attack Droid Attack: Shotgun Defense: Suppressive Fire
"This town is my responsibility; I'm helping." Ozzie says in a way that tells the girls it is not up for discussion and runs past the ice shield, firing at the robots. "Over here, you rusty buckets of rivets!" The udd taunts as he strafes through the hall, avoiding the robots' return fire and shelling them in return, taking down a couple. Once his shotgun clicks, Ozzie takes cover behind a pillar on the other side of the hall to reload.
"He's not bad." Bubbles comments.
"He's still going to need help." Blossom says as she and Bubbles zoom toward Ozzie in streaks of pink and blue. The robots turn in an attempt to track them, but once they are facing away from Timo and the others, he lowers the shield, allowing Buttercup and Steve to shoot them with their laser weapons from behind!
One of Buttercup's shots hits a plate on the back of one of Mojo's robots that sprays sparks and causes it to malfunction. The damaged robot turns and fires at a couple of the other nearby robots, who in turn attack the malfunctioning machine, identifying it as a hostile target. With the robots distracted firing at each other, Blossom and Bubbles fire their eyebeams and Ozzie fires his shotgun while Buttercup and Steve fire on them from the other side with their laser guns. Being hit from all sides, the hostile machines either fall over or explode into pieces, the shrapnel bouncing off the walls and the ice shield.
With the robots stopped, Ozzie walks over to the pile of their remains, kicking it with his foot. "Good riddance. Wristley said he was looking for more scrap metal to fix the lighting around here, now it looks like he'll get it."
"You okay Professor?" Blossom asks, to which he nods, still wearing the Federation Power Armor.
"Something doesn't seem right about this. Why would Mojo attack Udd City now?" He ponders out loud.
"He's Mojo! Who knows why he does anything?" Buttercup answers.
"What do you mean Professor?" Blossom asks.
"You said Mojo has been here longer than we have. He could have attacked long before any of us came to this planet and he didn't." Professor Utonium explains."
"He's right. We've been attacked by ults, hellmouths, clawgrips, and goretusks before, but never robots." Ozzie replies. "If this chimp of yours from Earth has been here so long, why is this the first time he's displayed his presence or hostility to us?"
"Maybe he knows you're good people now, and that you're helping us." Bubbles gives as her opinion. "Mojo has always been mean to good people in Townsville just because he hates everything good with the world."
"Sounds like a real people person." Ozzie says, discharging an empty shell from his shotgun. "Guess that's why he didn't have the guts to come here himself; no blood spilled on his end, just bolts and rivets."
Professor Utonium opens the door to the Butcher Shop. "Seymour? Are you all right, Dr. Saw?"
"Professor Utonium?" Dr. Saw is heard responding. "I'm fine, and I see that you've returned. Have you found what you were looking for?"
"I have. Dr. Frumapirz has given me a special chemical he was working on to clear Radiation X, but claims it is incomplete."
"I see. Come in and we will see what the alien has come up with."
Professor Utonium enters the Butcher Shop with the canister. Wristley steps out of his hiding place and looks at all the broken robots with a smile. "These should help me fix this place up a bit." He says, using his tools to start dismantling Mojo's machines for their metal.

Steve came in with the Professor. The rest followed, Blossom being herself a scientist, followed them to the bench and sat down beside them. 'Hi alll', Angel said, becoming visible beside them. 'This stuff is supposed to cure the planet, but I think it should be tested first', Steve said. The others nodded their agreement. Dr Saw got a petri dish and poured a small amount into it. It was a white substance which sort of bubbled in the dish. 'It's effervescent, whatever it is', Professor Utonium commented. They all looked at it for a moment. 'How can we break it down', Steve asked. 'We may need to make more and we ought to see what it is made of.' Blossom spoke up. 'And see if it works. Have you got any of those Pri bits left. We could start there.' Dr Saw approved of this idea. He went out of the laboratory and came back with a small amount of a dead Pri. 'One way to find out', he said as he dropped the pri flesh into it. The flesh stayed still as the substance bubbled around it. The flesh slowly vanished. 'Well, it kills them', Steve commented. What about your lot?', He looked at Dr Saw. They had a dilemma, the first of many. They could test it on various creatures, but who in Udd city could it be tested on?

Right after the battle ended, Timo created an all round ice shield for himself.
"Bubbles, Buttercup, come here quickly!" Timo said as he flew next to them.
Bubbles and Buttercup went inside the ice shield, causing the ice shield suddenly grow larger.
"What the...?" Timo wondered as he noticed the effect.
"What is it, Timo?" Bubbles asked.
"The ice shield grew bigger all by itself." Timo said. "I didn't do anything."
"Then what caused it?" Buttercup asked.
Timo had a bad feeling as a nasty thought came to him. "We have to go to Dr. Saw's lab right now... with the shield on all the time."
Bubbles and Buttercup looked at each other in wonder as they all went to Dr. Saw's lab. As they went in, they saw the rest with Dr. Saw, apparentally thinking about something.
"Professor!" Timo yelled. "I think we have a sall problem."
The Professor noticed Bubbles, Buttercup and Timo inside Timo's ice shield. "What is it?"
"I think we all got irradiated back there." Timo said. "My ice shield just grew bigger on its own right after I picked up Bubbles and Buttercup. It's never done that before."
Blossom, Steve and Angel were now looking each other too. They hadn't thought about how much they had been irradiated during battle.
"Is it possible your ice shield grew bigger because there's radiation INSIDE your shield?" Professor wondered. "Your ice shield might be reacting to the radiation that you three are emitting all together right now in addition to the radiation outside."
Timo thought about. He didn't like where this was going, but what the Professor was suggesting could be true.

"A few tests could be done to confirm your theory, Professor." Dr. Saw replies. "I've got medicine that can clean Radiation X from the systems of non mutants. After some of Kai'zhar's soldiers dumped the body of one of those aliens from the Federation on my doorstep, I made the most of it and used the body to further my research.
Timo, Blossom, and Buttercup all sit on one of Dr. Saw's operating tables, allowing him to examine each of them.
Timo Condition: Fine - Irradiated 10%
Bubbles Condition: Fine - Irradiated 12%
Buttercup Condition: Fine - Irradiated 12%
"Are we going to okay?" Bubbles asks. "The radiation won't make us sterile or something will it? I would still like to be able to have children with my husband after all this."
"Bubbles!" Blossom responds, sounding a little worried about herself now.
"You'll be all right. The shield you have been using to protect yourself from Radiation X is made of ice, but it has been reacting strangely. Since Radiation X does not actually generate any kind of heat, it is more likely being absorbed by the shield and irradiating the ice, hence the unusual reactions. Before I give you medicine to remove the irradiation, I would like to take a blood sample from each of you for my research."
"I don't have any problem with that." "Buttercup says, holding out her arm. Dr. Saw extracts some blood with his first needle, then injects her with some medicine to cure her of radioactivity. He then does the same with separate needles each for Bubbles and Timo. As he examines the blood samples, Dr. Saw continues.
"I have done my best to keep Udd City as free of radioactivity as possible, but it may still be prevalent in the halls considering the recent robot attack. You are all clean of Radiation X for now, but it seems you will have to be careful; even with the ice shield, you will not be fully protected.
Fortunately, your kind in particular seem to have a natural resistance to Radiation X compared to the aliens from the Galactic Federation. It would take a fairly high level of irradiation before you would suffer any kind of adverse affects."
"Doctor, since Chemical X Prime is the source of Radiation X, perhaps they are resistant to the radioactivity as a result of the Chemical X in their bloodstream?" Professor Utonium theorizes.
"It is possible. A direct match with the natural form of Chemical X would make one immune to its effects, but rumor has it that planet Xanocite was destroyed, so we may never know. The Chemical X cells in these samples, irradiated or not, seem to be more prevalent compared to Radiation X infused cells in udds, but diluted when compared to pries."
"I think I know where you are going with this." Professor responds. "You believe that the girls themselves are the missing piece required to Dr. Frumapirz's purifying chemical?"
"I do. That explains why pries hunted down and devoured the flesh of the few Powerpuffs born on FL-49 from the atomic explosions according to Frumapirz's notes. It explains their increased resistance compared to other unmutated lifeforms, and it explains the evolution from pri to udd. The Chemical X in their bloodstream can absorb and handle much more of it."
Dr. Saw puts his notes and the samples away. "This information must not leave this room. If udds loyal to Kai'zhar were to discover that Chemical X infused blood from a Powerpuff is the key ingredient to the purification of FL-49, they will hunt you down and take as much of your blood as they can for their own purposes."
"The big sword wielding guy in the castle with the armed soldiers? We thought he was on your side." Buttercup says.
Dr. Saw shakes his head. "The Galactic Federation believes him to be the leader of all the udds on FL-49, which is why he is the one their ambassador was sent to meet with. Our government collapsed when atomic fire consumed our world and eradicated all of the humans, hence we have no actual leaders. The Federation ambassador was the body his soldiers brought to me, claiming he died from exposure to Radiation X, but his body had several lacerations and broken bones. I believe Kai'zhar ordered the ambassador to be beaten to death, as his way of declaring war against the aliens."
"So you're saying the Federation's order to wipe out all mutant life on FL-49 is his fault?" Blossom asks. Dr. Saw nods in response.
"He has a network of spies all over the world. I am sure of it; as much as he knows about what goes on, no one has seen him leave the Fortress, and he would be foolish to try and fight an intergalactic war blind and deaf to the events around him."
"Do you suppose Mojo and Imposter are working with him?" Bubbles asks.
"I doubt that, since Mojo has some control of the Federation Kai'zhar is at war against." Blossom answers. "Someone on this planet besides Imposter must be helping Mojo, and if it isn't Kai'zhar, then who?"

Timo sat up. "I suspect the leaders of the Federation. Remember Patriarch's reaction when he heard our side of the story? He said the High Council had lied to him. Whose to say Mojo didn't have control of the whole Federation, including the decisions of the High Council, by that time? Patriarch also said that Mojo had been able to track him down. He didn't say it, but what if Mojo was also able to hear everything Patriarch said?"
Timo looked at the girls. "It would mean that Patriarch was working for Mojo all this time without noticing it. With all the robots Mojo controlled, he forced the high Council to pass all of HIS decisions, resulting that crazy planet restoration process list."
Timo sighed. "If that's the case... ... well, this is only my theory. I can't think of anyone else. Unless there's another party invovled in all of this, it couldn't be anyone else."

Steve spoke up. 'But Patriach always claimed to be the girls' father', he said. 'Surely their father could not be turned against his own kind?' Blossom stared at him. 'Yes, but what if it's true?' 'If it were, would he have given us this?'. He pointed to the chemical. 'Unless it was put in there for us to find and there was a spy in that VR. We don't know who else left after we did after all.' Angel was confused. 'But this works. Or rather seems to.' A horrible thought crossed Blossom's mind. 'Imposter.' 'That's why I said stay close to me', Steve said. 'Dr Saw, Imposter, or as she likes to call herself Blossom Junior, was made by a mad wizard years ago. One of her biggest problems, which Mojo has found a use for, is that she can read Blossom's mind. ' Dr Saw stared at them. 'How', he asked. 'We don't really know. Some sort of telepathic link, something which we couldn't find.', Blossom said sadly. 'Do you know of a way to stop it', Buttercup asked Dr Saw. 'Not without research', Dr Saw replied. 'What sort of research?', Blossom asked. 'I need her to find out for sure. Have you done any work on this?', Dr Saw asked Steve. 'No. Professor Utonium has, but I haven't seen his work.', Steve replied. Professor Utonium told them of his work, which had all been carried out on Imposter. In the end, he let her go. Imposter hadn't been able to stop reading Blossom's thoughts and there seemed to be no link. 'Have we measuerd Blossom's mental magnetic waves?'. Steve asked the Professor. 'Her and Imposter are maybe on the same magnetic frequency.' The Professor looked at him. 'You mean the two of them are on the same...' He nodded at Blossom and then in space for Imposter. 'Yes. Magnetoencephalographically speaking.', Steve replied. 'Cut the scientific talk and tell us what to do', Buttercup asked. Blossom looked at Steve. 'Well, we need to keep Blossom in a magnetically sheided room for now', Steve replied. 'Stop the signal while we make a special hat to jam the signal. We then carry on and Blossom must keep the hat on until we catch and imprison Imposter. When she's locked up or dead, Blossom can take it off.' 'Can we do that', Angel asked them. 'Of course', Blossom replied. 'In the meantime, you wear this.'. She handed Angel the bow from her head, which did actually suit her. Angel didn't comment. 'Has anyone got a motorbike helmet?', Steve asked. Cheers, Blossomgb en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetoencephalography

"This sounds really complicated." Buttercup speaks up. "Do we have the time, the equipment, or enough scientists on this planet to do this?"
"I think I know what you have in mind." Dr. Saw says. "We can get a motorcycle helmet from Silvia, who runs a clothes store across the hall. You will need a magnetometer to construct both the room and the helmet, but unfortunately I only have one. It is a relic constructed by humans used during the Black Nectar War; it is old and slightly damaged, but it may still function."
"What about the weather machine? Do we know where to find it?" Bubbles asks.
"Dr. Frumapirz gave me its location." Professor Utonium responds. "I could take Bubbles and Buttercup to protect me so we could recover the weather machine."
"I don't like the idea of splitting up; what if Mojo tries to stop you?" Blossom asks as she is seated, her head being measured for a helmet by her husband.
"You don't know where the weather machine is, therefore neither does Imposter. We could give it a try." Buttercup suggests.
"Okay, but what if Mojo sends a second wave to attack the city while you're gone and we're too busy working on the MSR helmet to stop them? Stay put everyone; we'll try to get the helmet ready soon as we can."
Buttercup folds her arms and flops onto a chair with a pouting expression. "Fine." She says, sounding a bit impatient. "Hurry up though; it isn't like Mojo's gonna wait for you to finish. He may not know where the weather device is, but I'll bet he's got robots or something out there searchin' for it."

Steve finished measuring Blossom's head and put the tape down, writing some notes. 'Yes, get it and we'll see', he said to Dr Saw. 'Okay', the Doctor said and went off to get it. He returned a moment later with it and Steve looked it over, then looked at Blossom's head and measured her magnetic activity. He put the magnetometer down and turned to the group. 'Imposter is a copy of Blossom, not perfect but close enough', he told them. 'Because of Blossom's intelligence...' Blossom beamed..'she generates more brain activity and this is what Imposter picks up, with nearly the same brain. She has been programmed to pick up Blossom's brain signals and theta waves. Blossom could learn to do the same thing if she wanted.' Blossom looked up at him. 'I'd rather not'. The other members looked at the two of them, with varying expressions of awe, pride and from Buttercup, a touch of humour. 'You don't have to.', Steve said to Blossom. Then to everyone else: 'Don't mention the weather station or what we're going to do until i've done. Go and get a medium size helmet, does not have to be an exact fit. And some tin foil.' Buttercup and Bubbles nipped across the corridor, with Timo to defend them. 'My mum a mastermind?', Angel asked. 'Yep. And you too, probably', Blossom replied. The Professor just beamed at this, the family that he'd been about to leave, How could he?, he wondered. The others came back with the helmet and the tim foil. 'Are you really going to insulate her with these', Buttercup asked. 'Of course. He's my dad', Angel shot back. Steve took the helmet and padded the inside with tin foil. Then he put it on Blossom. 'Is that comfy', he asked her. 'Well, I'd rather not have to wear it, but it's fine', Blossom answered. 'You won't be wearing it for long', Steve said as he fastened the buckle, giving her a kiss in the process. Behind him, Buttercup's look was unreadable. He then took a red pen off the desk and drew the ribbon on the top of the helmet. 'Belle of the ball, wouldn't you say?'
Imposter at that moment had a shock. For the first time in her life, she couldn't sense Blossom or read her mind. Mojo wouldn't be impressed, but Imposter, or Blossom Junior, did enjoy the peace. She was waiting for Mojo, and she put her head back and rested.
'Oh yes, very fetching', The Professor added, before anyone decided to take the mickey. Steve picked up the magnetometer again and it did not read anything on Blossom at all, Steve measured Angel as a test, then back to Blossom. 'Right', Blossom spoke. 'What about this weather thing and how is the 'cure for the planet coming along?'
Cheers,

Timo looked at both Blossom and Angel, Angel now having Blossom's bow.
"Is it me, or am I seeing double?" Timo asked almost joking.
Bubbles giggled. "Well what would you expect from Blossom's daughter?"
Timo looked at Bubbles, smiling. "Then perhaps our child will be just as joyful as you are."
Bubbles nearly blushed. "Well... we'll see won't we, honey?"
"Definitively."
